The story started off interesting, got kind of overly twisty and unbelievable in the middle, then ended strong.

Sarah has a wonderful week with a wonderful man, and then he ghosts her.

It seems strange, but she didn't really know him that well...

Hated this one. Read for bookclub, otherwise never would have. Slow start, then interesting for bit wondering why Eddie ghosted, but then too many big dramatic moments, too many traumatized characters, and "twists" were just author withholding info in a way that didn't serve the purpose or structure of the story.

Slow to start but nice twists and turns in the last 1/3

Started kind of slow,and stayed so until part 3. We don‘t actually get to see Sarah & Eddie‘s love develop,we are only granted a few snippets here & there and this lack of development just made it all unrealistic and hard to understand why Sarah behaved the way she did when he disappeared. Similar plot to another book I just read (andLOVED),November9. There‘s a twist I didn‘t see coming,and it‘s a good one that redeems this book! Book #12 in 2023

I can't fathom falling in love with someone in a week, not hard enough to feel the way Sarah does. Maybe scared to be alone after divorce. Also I think I know exactly what Tommy is suspicious of 🤔

Love this - "I'm a person who can do a lot of things badly but with great enthusiasm...." Really enjoying this book so far.

Ghosted, by Rosie Walsh, is both a romance and a mystery. It tells the story of a woman named Sarah meeting Eddie, who seems to be the perfect man for her. After spending one week together, Eddie cuts off all communication. This debut novel will definitely put Rosie Walsh on my list of authors to read. Ghosted is the US title. The UK title is The Man Who Didn't Call.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 This book definitely kept my attention and I loved the twists that I didn't see coming (I was very wrong with my guesses).

This book started out really slowly but it definitely picked up by part 2, which happens to be about halfway through the book. I‘m glad I stayed with it because the ending definitely changed how I felt about it. I‘d give it about 3 stars but I do wish it was more interesting in the beginning.

3/100. What a slow book... and then once it finally got good it became slow again! It finally got to the point where I just jumped ahead to the points that were relevant so that I could just finish the book.

The good news is that I checked something off of my #BOTM backlist. The bad news is that I absolutely hated it.

Loved this book! It was much different than I expected.

Getting comfy with a new book!

Awful. The plot of the book fell flat for me and the prose was nothing special to compensate for the eye-rolling storyline. Disappointing in plot, character development, narrative, and suspense. Even the big reveals felt trite and unexciting. I didn‘t find myself caring what happened to the characters and the characters seem better off not caring about each other, too.

Book 88

Book 88 I listened to this romance-with-a-twist novel about a couple that meet and fall in love within a week's time; the man goes out of town, promises to be in touch, then never contacts the woman again. Her friends are sure he ghosted her, but she isn't convinced. The mystery unravels. The story was original-enough and easy to listen to. Great for a listen.

Little slow in the beginning but then couldn‘t put down

Masterful. Wow, this book was so much more than I expected it to be. You‘re going to think you understand the situation, but you probably don‘t. Just let Rosie Walsh take you along for the ride. Strongly recommend!💗💗💗💗💗

I bought this book for the cover. And I'm waiting for it to pick up but the MC is boring....and pinning over a guy she spent a week with. I did the same thing every summer....when I was a teenager. No patience so off to another home it goes.

Ugh. This is just too slow and it‘s not holding my interest. And the MC, Sarah, is whiny and annoying.

#BOTM from July 2018 🤣 The twists in this one kept me guessing and I could not put it down! I enjoyed that the storyline was unique and I was definitely fooled into guessing the wrong storyline a few times 😋 Definitely an enjoyable read! I whizzed through it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Decided to catch up on some of my #BOTM picks ...

WOW! Thats all that comes to mind as I read the last few words. The suspense, questions, misdirection, love, despair, tragedy...many times I thought i had figured out what was going on only to find out that I was about 10 miles from where the story really went. I couldn't put this down. I loved it. The story was fresh and different. I hadn't read anything like this up to this point in time.

I thought I knew where this story was going but I was wrong. I was blind sighted by a few surprises and a twist I didn‘t see coming. The first 2 chapters or so were annoying, most because I could relate and I thought I knew where the story was going.
A little mystery, surprises and twists made for an enjoyable book.

Sarah meets Eddie and for one week they have the best week of their lives. Eddie leaves with promises that he will be back and then he is gone. This book was slow at first and then you hit the apex and the ride down is worth it all. Good twists and turns. Good read for this time in quarantine.😷😀👍🏼

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 I was not at all expecting that story. It was twisty and unexpectedly sweet. I don‘t want to spoil anything, so just read it!

Very good read. I like a book that gets me right away and holds my attention and this one did it. One that a lot of ladies might relate with if they‘ve been in the dating world recently.

About 50 pages too long. While the reveal was a good twist, I wasn‘t totally sold on the insta-love and it just drug on for too long. #ATY2020

I don‘t usually like romances but this was a romantic tear at the heartstrings story. Slow to start, but the second have took my breath away.

I thought I had figured out the twist in this book but I hadn‘t.. it was just okay though. Nothing to get excited about.

A quick, easy read. Sarah and Eddie meet and spend 7 amazing days together. Eddie is getting ready to go a trip with friends but promises to stay in touch. Things go south from there when Sarah can no longer get in touch with him. There are 2 twists in the story - 1 I saw coming and 1 I didn‘t. Overall, it was an enjoyable read and something light in the midst of all of the nonfiction I‘ve been reading.

I had no idea what I was getting into when I started reading this. At first, it was okay so they had a fling for 7 days and he just stopped calling her. Halfway through the book it gets so much better. So many twists I didn't see coming. I was like what and what and WHAT?!?!?!?! It was definitely a page turner after that and I loved the ending especially with Eddie's mother. Just a great read.

Write a brief summary of the novel: Eddie David was Sarah Harrington's lover. After seven days Eddie disappears into plain mist. Sarah was desperate to find, but she never gave up. She was Scared that if she gave up it might be to late.

Wow! Great read; suspenseful love story...is that a genre? Thoroughly enjoyed it!

This book 😱 is going to break my heart, isn't it?

This is what we used to say in vet school when someone was stirring up trouble. This book has more drama crammed in than a season of General Hospital!

Plus, as someone who has had a teenage car accident inform every day, every choice (really) that I‘ve made since then, it isn‘t a book I plan to revisit.

Bookie (the bookmark) may look happy with her book, but I‘m beginning to hate read this one a bit. Clowndoctors, the world‘s most obvious plot, over dramatic characters...really 🙄🙄🙄😒

Listened on #audiobook Twisty plot but overall just ok. I did enjoy the narration.
