Relishing the quiet of Sunday morning to start this book with a cup of Earl Grey. #bookntea #sundaymorning
In this alternate Victorian world, there are clock mechanics responsible for keeping the #Clocks running so time doesn't stop. Unfortunately, there are also mysterious bombings of clock towers that are threatening life in England, and many people think it's one of the clock mechanics.

#audioeating with my falafel and salad lunch! One of my favorite things about participating in the #readathon is preparing food the night before! 😋 Made this falafel, tzatziki sauce, and some yummy avocado dip last night so I could attempt to be relatively healthy today. 🤷🏻♀️
I finished rereading TIMEKEEPER while I cooked breakfast, ate it, and did the dishes. That‘s 48 minutes down! #audiocooking #readathon
It‘s #Readathon time, y‘all! I‘m gonna turn on my audiobook and cook breakfast soon as I post this.
1. Middle of Canada.
2. I‘m excited to finish THE RED by Tiffany Reisz
3. Corn twists. I bought ‘em as a last hurrah before I go totes healthy.
4. I take loooooooooooong walks whenever the weather allows.
5. This is my 22nd consecutive Readathon, so I don‘t see myself shaking things up much. I might read a magazine again? I dunno.
Can anyone help @TheBookDream with Apps that record time reading that can be used in the #24B4Monday #Readathon. Like many of us TheBookDream has struggled with the iPhone / iPad timer resetting itself. I use Leio to record my reading time but this is tied with the books read. Does anyone know of a good app for recording time that doesn‘t reset itself?
I usually hate time travel books so I don‘t knowing buy them. So the best your going to get is Timekeeper.
The last good time travel book I Read was The Last Magician. It‘s out for a traveling book so no pictures currently.

I had suspected him for idk, revenge type feelings. For being forced to leave her, getting fired, and shunned but wow, did Not expect THAT 😮😮😮 I guess all that guilt is what had him helping Danny out?? Tho maybe he was also starting to feel threatened so that's why he butted in saying Danny wasn't well yet 🤔🤔 #amreading
COLTON WHAT HAPPENED 😱😱 was it Brandon?! Another mechanic?! Someone def after Danny!
This book started off so cute and I love the romance but I'm starting to get a little worried about Danny's, uhm, obsession? Behavior? I feel it's going to blow up so bad 😥😥 Also I have a suspect for the bomber, let's see if I'm right or way off #amreading #boyslove
It took me a while to get into this book, but once I did, I enjoyed it. I've never read anything like this before. Although I don't necessarily feel compelled to read any more in the series, I still thought it was good.
I love that the artwork for the chapter numbers reflects the theme of the book! 🕓
These are so good. I can‘t wait to read Firestarter but I‘ll have to wait until next year! 🌟 #boutofbooks #serieslove
Slow to start, this book really picked up steam halfway through.
I know, I know, I‘m hopeless. I couldn‘t resist the pun. 😂
I knew very little about the storyline, so was pleasantly surprised by my hands down favorite character, Colton. But I won‘t say any more about why he is so adorably awesome, to avoid spoilers.
This is the 2nd #steampunk book that I have ever read; definitely becoming a fan of the genre!

1. Maya had her first track meet on Sunday, and scored 2nd overall in long jump with 3 amazing jumps! She had never done it before, and beat both boys and girls 4 years older than her. 💪🏼💪🏼
2. Yogurt and berry parfait
3. Lots of clocks.
4. A decorative pillow.

Starting the day off right!
I‘m loving the Jane Austen tea blend that @Avanders sent in the #Austenbookswap! #booksandtea #steampunk #currentlyreading
Starting my 10th book for June, and last prompt for the 2nd season of #Booked2018!! I think I have given myself enough time to finish by the end of the month. 🤞🤞 #Steampunk
Sorry I'm late posting my #steampunkgoespostal. I love it all. @Shadowfat as quite a challenge because I have read or own most of the big names main steam Steampunk novels. But she did a great job. And I have never seen that edition of the difference engine. Thank you soooooo much. !
I read this yesterday, and its full of stuff I didn't know I needed. I mean, steampunk and female mechanics in the Victorian era? Heck yeah
1. So many... Chris Evans, Jason Momoa, Joe Manganiello. I like them buff. And Colin Farrell. And 1960's Warren Beatty.
2. Today its green.
3. Timekeeper at 414 pages. (Tagged)
4. I'm assuming this is a fun mission bc I'd be useless for a serious mission so I'm going with Luna Lovegood, Khal Drogo, Thor (comic books count!) & Neville Hammersmith.

Oh my goodness I love this book. The world-building is amazing, the characters are great, and the story is so good. It kept me guessing until the end. There were a lot of really cool moments with the text too, the way it would sometimes fade or "wiggle" across the page.
Colton and Danny's relationship was so sweet. I love them both so much and I just want to see them happy. I can't wait to read the next one.
"Thete comes a moment when time seems to slip faster, running long then short, Shadow shining as the sun climbs. It's the moment, he decided, when you're no longer a child. When the concept of time and the need for more of it come together and make you Perks. Make you yearn for the longer days, the lazy days, before you knew what time passing actually meant." (239, PB, 1st)
Colton's smile return slowly. Denny watched in subdued wonder as strands of golden time threaded across Colton's body, weaving under and around his arms, around his neck, hugging his torso, looping curlicues between his fingers. Danny had a sudden and irrational jealousy, then. He wanted to be that golden and that close. He wanted to wrap himself around Colton's body, to be everywhere, all at once, and feel the strength and power of him.
"It was difficult to remind himself that Colton wasn't really made of flesh, that he was a manifestation. He felt real enough." (91, 1st paperback)
This is a book that I've been anticipating reading for a while now. I love the steampunk aesthetic and from what I have heard from a friend that read it there is a queer character? Correct me if I'm wrong. Either way I'm super excited for this one.
Starting this today. I hope I enjoy it. Some of my last few reads were really rather average.
Really liked this genre-blending story: steampunk, fantasy, time bending, alternate history with LBGTQ+ themes. But also a story of first love, family, and friendship. Good characters & good world building—and something fresh. Looking forward to next book. 🎧 Audiobook was nicely performed by Gary Furlong. It took me a little bit to warm up to him, but then I was drawn in.
Happy New Year Littens! ICYMI, our December/January book club selection is TIMEKEEPER by Tara Sim. Join us reading it, as well as the discussion in #AsianLitChat at the end of January!

Nice book, easy and quick read. I choose it for the #booked2018 for an uncoventional romance. Thanks for the tip I got on GR. @Cinfhen @4thhouseontheleft @BarbaraTheBibliophage
Also book 7 of the #litsyAtoZ @BookishMarginalia book 12/275
4.5/5
I really enjoyed this world! The concepts of the clock and actual time being so intertwined was so cool! Though this is insta-lovey, I actually really enjoyed it and kept rooting for Colton and Danny (who were adorable!)
I really felt for Danny...dude did not have a good few years and his mom was definitely not helping. The ending with her really did help me understand her and Danny's love for her though.
Starting what will probably be my last book of 2017!
1. Drinking coffee and finishing Timekeeper. If you are looking for a book for #booked2018 #unconventionalromance then I recommend this one! And the sequel is coming out soon!
2. Reading, of course📚
3. Prepared holiday cards and packages so I can go to the post office in the morning📮
4. Shout out to @theshrinkette for posting about this book on Twitter and @CoffeeAndABook for translating turnbeutel 😂

I honestly wasn't too sold on this book when I first started it but it quickly picked up and I fell in love with its characters!
Oh this was super charming. Slowly paced until the end, but it worked for me. I love this version of Victorian England.
Aw, man, this was exactly what I wanted: magic clocks, dead/missing gods, time-centric shenanigans, families in flux, stories as unifying forces, good people who sometimes do bad things, the changing face of technology, and openly gay boys in love. I'll eagerly await the sequel.
The audio production's good too, even if the narrator does pronounce "shone" the American way (my audio pet peeve). #queerbooks
I did a fair chunk of #audiowalking with the tagged book in my ears. With any luck, I'll finish it tonight.
Did you know that today is #ReadABookDay? I made a list of #ya books that feature and discuss illiteracy. Are there any books you'd add to this list? https://yawednesdays.com/2017/09/06/readabook-day-reading-list/
