I love a margarita, it‘s my favorite cocktail, and I do love to try seasonal twists. This year, it‘s the Candy Cane margarita, which I‘m enjoying while watching a Christmas movie with my hubby! The link is for several peppermint cocktails, so lots of good options.

Maybe next year we could get points for listening to holiday/winter albums? My daughter seems to prefer spending family time that way to watching specials these days.

I think this is the start of a new #HolidayTradition. We shopped so late that we got a kind of Charlie Brown tree and it doesn't hold all our ornaments, so I had the idea of lining some up on our windowsill.

I almost never do crafts -- I'm terrible with my hands -- but my daughter and her aid were “diamond painting“ ornaments and I got into it too. The colors are much lighter than they look in the photo -- they're more like Trans Pride snowflakes. 😁🏳️⚧️

Loved this new historical romance by Aster Glenn Gray. (Note that Amazon has it as “Deck the Halls In Secret Agents,“ not With.) Towards the end of the Cold War, two agents from opposite sides--with a lot of personal history--find themselves on missions at the world's most OTT Christmas party. Gray's quiet prose packs deft characterizations and genuine emotion into the short cat-and-mouse story. A more traditional romance than Gray's Honeytrap.
Another #holidaytradition…every year I buy my husband an Irish ornament. Pictured is this year‘s. I can‘t remember exactly when I started that tradition but it‘s been quite a while! He loves to see what I pick out each year. ☘️

Thank the coloring gods for HappyColor. Seems one way I've been able to cope with the election results is to color. A LOT. Since 12/1, I have colored 101 holiday pictures. That's close to 7 a day. It's kept me sane. I included 36 pics above. No way was I going to do 101 posts, 😳, though I'll miss that extra 505 pts. 😂 And I couldn't fit 101 on here, so ... this is it! +1520 pts.
