I am an avid reader and will read anything and everything although I much prefer fiction to non fiction.

-Ladybird “Birdie” Sanders is our pandemic pup. We got her from a rescue. She is a pointer, and super quirky. She doesn‘t like when I read as she requires both hands for pets.

Hello, Hello, as Matthew's book suggests! I'm back after a long time, I know. A bit older, and maybe a bit more wiser.
It has been a bittersweet few years, but I am hoping that 2022 is going to be better, for everyone.
My husband died in 2020, and I moved to the big city, to be closer to my family, but sad to say, I miss my country life. So, I am going to find another rural spot. Above is a photo of Millie, who is now 3. Hasn't she grown?

So....apparently I‘ve not posted in 5 months?! I didn‘t realize it had been so long but it has been. I‘ve not read much in about a year. After my dad died I was kind of meh on reading and then a pandemic hit and the not reading continued. I‘m managing to do a little reading so maybe I‘ll have something to talk about here!

Hello friends! I‘ve been completely MIA from Litsy since #COVID and all hell breaking loose. We‘re all healthy here (knock on wood), but it was a lot, my ADHD was on high alert, and I couldn‘t focus on much, including reading. But I‘ve gotten back in the habit and I need the positivity this community brings back in my life. Looking forward to re-engaging. I‘ve missed you!

Hey all, sorry I‘ve been gone. I‘m fine, not sick, and neither is any of my family. What I have been is busy. My #covidvacay turned into a sweatshop. Pictured above is the 163 masks I (with a little help from mom and Josh) spent the last 5 days. It doesn‘t look like much but it used up a lot of supplies that are I demand right now (no elastic to be had in 100 miles).

My back and neck hurt but my hands oh my hands. Maybe by tomorrow I‘ll be ⬇️

Still around. Life is crazy. Starting a full-time job on 11/3 (after 2.5 years of 20-25 hrs a week), plus all the holiday cray cray has meant that I‘m BUSY.

Social media has taken a hit. I‘ve been medium active over on Instagram, but I can‘t seem to keep up both there and here.

But I‘m still reading! Trying to still hit my goal! Will try and pop in a bit here and there too. But I think #friyayintro is done for good, sorry!! ❤️
