I was shopping for bookmarks online today and I stumbled upon this one. I am now a bit obsessed with it and realized I have never thought to name my bookmarks!!

If you were to name your bookmarks, what names would you give to them? Would their names be based upon the type of books you read? Would they be named after favorite characters? Please let me know!!!

Bookworm54 What an interesting idea! I have a bookmark with my own name on that was made for me, but to pick out names for them? :O I guess it would have to be favourite characters for me. But I am bad at choosing favourites. Good job I have a lot of bookmarks! 4y

AsYouWish @Bookworm54 I have lots with my name on them too and a few with my Litsy name that I have received in swaps, but when I saw this bookmark I fell in love with the idea of bookmarks having their own names and maybe even personalities. I currently rotate between three bookmarks, but I don‘t necessarily pick one over the other for certain books, it is just the one I grab first that gets to be my bookmark for that book. 4y

LibrarianRyan @Macker11 It's not necessary. Some do especially if they get matched with a long time friend, or with someone who was a swap partner another time. Do not feel it is necessary because it is not. I am sending 6 bmswaps, and yes one is a package, but it's a bit of a make up package. The rest are just envelopes. 5y

LibrarianRyan @Macker11 You are welcome. Standard swaps can get expensive, so this one is a nice simple way to dip your toes. Saying that, I now know why no one has hosted this one twice in a row. Its easy for the participants, but this was a little bit more background work then i am used to. Thats not a complaint, I swear. If you are ever curious about a swap just ask. There are bad partners (for which there are 2 black lists), and well as bad hosts. 5y

Good news! Alice was discharged from the hospital this afternoon. We spent part of the morning and our local library, less than a mile from the hospital. After perusing the cooking magazines, I discovered this magazine, which is new to me. Lots of book reviews, so a number of new books added to my TBR 😄
