Anyone else on iPad app not able to add pictures, edit posts or rate items. This is like 3 days in a row. But I see others have pictures.
Anyone else limited like me.?
I have two big reading questions lately :
1/ if you read while listening to music, where do you find music that goes with your book or at least does not clash ?
2// I want to find/organise a smallish reading retreat over my birthday : not traveling far, comfy place, maybe a good library, food catered for me .. Any tip on how to organize something like that ?
@Puddlejumper @originalcyn620
Okay, question on points. How do we count a reading challenge prompt. I see how to count a bingo, and I see how readathons, but I have been through the google file and do not see who we cant a prompt for points. Just getting my math correct.

I, personally, prefer silence, but soft background music is also nice. 🎶 I also like to read outside, so maybe, nature is my favorite background noise.

Thanks for the tag @Lizpixie In your honour I limited my choices to Aussie music.
Ita - Cold Chisel (I believe, I believe in what she says, yes I do!)
Love Is (What I Say) - INXS (the extended remix on the cassette only release Dekadance which I listened to obsessively in 1985)
Love In Motion - Icehouse (I wish the Chrissie Amphlett duet re-recording was 80s rather than 92, but the original version will do)
1. Together In Electric Dreams - The Human League/Giorgio Moroder.
2. Rock The Casbah - The Clash
3. Don‘t Believe Anymore - Icehouse
All are subject to change, music has always been my escape(along with books of course!)I have a large Spotify playlist of most of my fave 80s tunes with a few early 90s ones sneaking in.

Is this allowed? 😅
1. There were so many! Tom‘s Midnight Garden, the Wizard Of Oz series, Asterix & Obelisk & Tintin GN, & Samanthas Secret Room which as 1 of 5 kids really made me want my own cave! I was a big reader🤷🏻♀️
2. My dad had itchy feet so every weekend all 7 of us would be crammed into the Valiant Station Wagon & go exploring up & down the NSW coast. Fun times! And family BBQs.🥩
3. This was a tough one. I‘d have to say when my grandson was born.👇
!) The Weirdstone of Brisingamen by Alan Garner. It infected my brain in a way usually only scary visuals do.
2) I would once have said an emphatic NO WAY, but I have learned to enjoy small amounts of the creepy variety. Still hate gore and grisly -- body horror is right out.
3) Fingersmith by Sarah Waters. It's so dark and twisty and romantic.
A day late but here i go…1. pumpkin pies pumpkin muffins for me 2. definitely spooky stories #fallseasonishere #twofortuesday @TheSpineView
1. You betcha! I do both, I listen to audiobooks in bed & read when my eyes are actually open. Mostly😁
2. a. It helps with my pain control(I‘m in pain 24/7 so it takes my mind off it). b. It helps with my depression(takes me away from myself). c. It keeps my brain active(reading has been proven to help with brain function & memory).
#WondrousWednesday
1. Oh yeah. There‘s two large wood cases in the loungeroom, two large TBR bookcases in the spare room AND I have a library that was my sons room. And I still have double stacked shelves, a metre tall stack next to the bed and 4 stacks on the library floor. Oh, and a TBR cart! I‘m drowning in books. Which is fine.🫣
2. Alphabetically then chronologically. Except my #MountTBRShelvesOfDoom are also grouped by genre first.
@CarolynM @Cinfhen
i usually borrow books both ebook & physical and audiobooks from library and will only buy the book if i really really like it…saves me space and i support our local libraries #readinglife #sundayfunday @ozma.of.oz
First off, no that's not one of my cats.
My question: Is "cringe" the new standard for #RomCom?
I'm working my way through a few "hilariously funny" contemporary romance ARCs and they are giving me second hand embarrassment. I don't think any of the supposed to be funny stuff is actually funny. Is this the new normal?
And yes, you can tell me I'm a curmudgeon, though I don't think that's the problem here.
1. I love Wednesday, Sandman, The Expanse, Three Pines, Foundation & I‘m planning on watching Daisy Jones & the Six. NF I‘m watching The Problem with Jon Stewart, Emergency NYC, Homicide with Ron Iddles(Aussie true crime with the best detective we‘ve ever produced)& Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.
2. Anita Blake would be interesting! MurderBot, Nevernight, A Darker Shade Of Magic, The Lost Man & Killers Of A Certain Age.
#WondrousWednesday
1. apples never fall & house of hunger
2. edith wharton, lian moriarty, margaret atwood, ruth ware, agatha christie, lisa see

What don‘t I collect? The tops of my library shelves hold my collection of literary mugs, POP vinyls etc. There‘s a giant novelty mug full of bookmarks on my desk, there‘s trinket dishes, stickers, magnets, my huge Potterverse collection including wands, and beside the library door is a display of pin flags that are full with more in progress hanging on the door.I have a box full of book sleeves. And there‘s stationery….🤔 #LittensWantToKnow
