A reflective look at the past with big dreams for the future, this novel follows a few characters from different social classes as they become intertwined with each other. A slow burner that becomes a riveting story. I love the sense of hope in this novel, despite some pretty horrific things that have happened in the characters‘ past. #LiteraryCrew

pickI really enjoyed this book. The book is set in the 1920s and is about a young woman who dreams of life on the stage. The story is told from three different perspectives, and the book addresses the hopes, dreams and heartbreaks of each character. This is one book I am really sad it ended because I really loved the character, Dolly. #LiteraryCrew

pickI really enjoyed this book though it‘s hard to pinpoint why. I liked the entwining stories and felt very transported. I really love Hazel Gaynor's writing style. Her books always leave me feeling better about life and her newest is no different. I think it would make a great audio book, narrated by Kate Winslet. If you love historical fiction, give Hazel Gaynor a go. #24in48 #readathon
pickLove how the author paints a vivid picture of the eras she writes in--the Roaring 20s, Savoy hotel & London's theater scene are brought to life. Swept away by this historical romance. You could read it with a cuppa but I say put on some 20s music & make this Earl Grey Gin Fizz w/ homemade tea syrup.
