Hi everyone! This was a fun book about the main character traveling. A 17 year old got in a art program in Ireland. Her mother surprises her and tags along for the ride. The book was okay to much drama between mother and daughter. If you like Gilmore Girls you will probably enjoy it. #litsy #kindle #kindlefire #paperwhite

I have officially finished And We‘re Off!!! Honestly I had a hard time getting into it at first. The beginning might be a little slow, but it‘s a beautiful story. A girl finding herself on a trip in Europe. A classic. It‘s not a bad book.

ReadingVampire Welcome! I live in Plantation FL! But I'm from, and my family is in Kendal which is 30 mins from Doral. Lived here all my life! My dad is Italian and never learned Spanish and had lived down here for 40+ years. 👌🏻 6y

ReadingVampire We don't have any indy bookstores. Also, very few used bookstores. Once in a while, you'll find a gem. I rely on B&N and Amazon for my bookish needs. Also once a year downtown Miami has a book fair that takes up a lot of blocks 😊 (edited) 6y

MoniqueReads305 @Puredragonstar is right. The only Indy bookstore we have is Book & Books and they're mostly located on the beach. There really isn't a market here right now. They only used bookstore that I knew it closed. 6y

I have a non-Indy bookstore in sawgrass mills next to me called books-a-million but other than that all the used book stores I used to go to closed too. JanuarieTimewalker13 If you feel like exploring, FLL has an amazing Barnes and Noble on Federal Highway and there‘s a really cute used bookstore called Big Apple books I went to last year. Probably a 45 minutes drive from Doral. My friend lives in FLL, so I was just at the huge B&N there 2 weeks ago but didn‘t make it back to the Indie. 6y

I almost bailed on this book, but I'm so glad I didn't. I wasn't so sure that I liked Nora or her mother at first but as their story unfolded I completely understood both of them. It's a story of a mother and daughter both trying to "find themselves" after the disappointments of life.

Cute story. Some of the sections moved faster then others. The main character often imagined things that were presented as real until the sentence after, which was a little confusing a few times. But over all I liked it.

This book was only 250 pages and it was so hard for me to stay interested in the story. I bailed halfway through.

Nora was kind of a brat and all over the place. But I guess she was the typical teenager who was just trying to find herself. Maybe I just wasn't in the right frame of mind to read this book.

I'm not a teenager or an artist, but I could relate to Nora's conflicts It's the classic story of a metaphorical journey of finding yourself mixed with a literal journey, in this case traveling Europe. Parts were clichéd for sure, but it was light and easy and just what I needed before going back to school on Friday!

This was a quick fun read (just what I was looking for). I did think some of the Harry Potter references felt off. I also wasn't a big fan of how Nora treated her mom or how her mom didn't communicate with Nora. But overall fast and easy read. #BOTM

This was a quick and fun summer read.
I enjoyed the YA novel metaphors and Harry Potter references. I can relate to Nora's insecurities. It wrapped up quickly, but I didn't mind because sometimes it's nice to finish a book in 2 days.

Plus I'm so sick of girls not being portrayed as scientist, engineers, etc. It's just a pet peeve of mine. That's why I like The Impossible Fortress, Catalyst, and One Plus One so much. And TIF and OPO are reaches because that's not the main story. #stepsoff 7y
