Great month in reading. Thanks in large part to a readathon weekend. (full of short books 🤫)
Made a dent in Mount TBR, but at the expense of ARCs. Will be hitting the netgalley shelf this month, for sure!

Congratulations @CSeydel on you special milestone, and thanks for paying it forward with the #12345 Giveaway!!
My bookish anecdote is that when I was in elementary school I always read ahead (especially when we took turns reading aloud), and I always got in trouble for it. The nuns had very little patience for intelligence.

Don‘t forget to share your stories for a chance to win a gift box! Make a new post telling me a cute or funny bookish anecdote. Drawing will be held Wednesday 5/16.
Here‘s an anecdote from me 👇
@CSeydel My book anecdote is that back in July 2009, I took 70 odd books with me for the summer (a girl needs choices!) for vacation but on the way to the cottage, I sank the boat we were in. I spent the rest of that rainy summer trying to dry out all the books and explaining to publicists why my book review might be late. (I have a blog post about the whole disaster too!) #12345
Check it out, y‘all! I think it must be my turn to host a giveaway.

For TWO entries go follow @ameliask8
For FIVE entries make a new post sharing an entertaining book-related anecdote. Example? Showing off a new word you learned in a book — and pronouncing it totally wrong. Having a chat with a random guy in a bookstore — who turned out to be Stephen King.
I know you‘ve got stories! Let‘s hear em!
Meh. I needed a break from heavy reading. This certainly fit that bill. Most of the characters were pretty unappealing. Most of the story was predictable. My favorite parts came from two minor characters: Penny‘s cousin (whose name escapes me at the moment) and Miguel, the country club waiter.

Just caught this and had to share. 1-2-3-4-5! ☺️
Joining this community has been one of the best things I've done. I love being able to share my love of reading, seeing what everyone else is reading and has to say about their books, but also how comfortable we are with sharing ourselves with each other.
Thank you for being so accepting!
I managed to catch this one. Not a huge number, but I like that the digits are consecutive. Littens are the best! I love Litsy (and spend more time here than on fb!). ☺️❤
Not sure why consecutive numbers as milestones, but I figure 'why not'. It's a reflection on you all - you, you wonderful people❣
good thing i got ahead early, because i've been in a major slump for the last month. love me some data, though!
Wanted to share my October Reading Roundup... #serialreader really boosted my total & #audiobooking helped too💞 I honestly don't think I watched any television this month...well, except for those Million Dollar Listings ( can't break my ❤️ for Bravo)
Almost read this in one sitting I was so into it. Exactly the kind of story I want from Jen Lancaster. The main character made me crazy though; I wanted her to say No a lot more often.

I knew from page 2 that Jen Lancaster's new book was going to be hilarious!
