It‘s been a while since I‘ve picked up one of these books so I forgot how many different POVs you get. Sorry, I found Phury pretty boring as an MC because it was so internal and he never spent time with Cormia. I did like the way the book ended.

We will be reading book six in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series in November. This is Phury and Carmia's story. I am sure we will get more of the other brothers also. I am especially looking forward to getting more tidbits about John Matthew.

My bookspin is actually just a Black Dagger Brotherhood book, but this is where I‘m at next in the series.

This is possibly the hardest book to read of the 6 I‘ve already read. I vividly remember the tinge of sadness amongst the happy ending, thinking of Phury not really being in the Brotherhood anymore. I‘m glad I have 19 more books to read, so hopefully that entire story arch ends up a little happier too. This was a rather philosophical book, which I rather liked.

Another truly hideous audiobook cover. Were they even trying here?! As it turns out, what I thought I remembered from this book actually happened in the last book… but I *think* it brought vague memories of what happens in this book. We‘ll see I guess. Let the adventure begin (continue?!)!!! Let the adventure continue with this new beginning?! Dunno.

I‘m learning not to be surprised by anything with this series. This love story irritated me a bit but the background stories made up for it. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I liked this book more than the last one. I liked that Phury had a drug addiction and had to overcome it. It was a little awkward with Phury going from celibate to not. I loved the drama with John and his friends. A villain is back in the story and gave the story more depth! I cannot wait to see what happens to John and the lessers in the next few books.

4/5 for this paranormal romance. I love this series. This book was really good too. I loved seeing all the different character storylines. I loved Cormia and Phury. I cannot wait to read the next book.

The sixth book of the Black Dagger a series is very detailed and interesting. It seems more action-packed than the others. I like the direction the whole story seems to be taking. I liked that Phury's addiction is portrayed in his head as a self destructive voice for reasons understood only by him.

This is my least favorite book so far in this series. That being said I love this series. There were elements of this book that I found really annoying and they centered around Phury the main brother in this book. It will not stop me reading on as I really do like the brothers.

This one was not as captivating as the other books have been. Can‘t wait to read the next few in the series to see what happens with other characters

I felt this installment dragged a bit. I wanted to smack Phury across the face and smarten him up a bit. There were some things that drove the series forward, and I really did like those parts...but Phury is my least favorite brother.

On to Rev‘s book now, and he is one of my favorites. 😍😍

When I saw the prompt for #readingresolutions for #creepycharacters I had to scroll thru my Goodreads list a bit as I generally don‘t like or read books with a creep factor. BUT...the Lessening Society in this series are ALL creepy and gross and freak me out. I haven‘t made it last book 6 yet but intend to at some point.

I don't like the phrase #guiltypleasure. It implies you should feel bad for how you feel, which never made sense to me. I've never felt bad for reading anything I've enjoyed, whether it's smexy #vampires, splatterpunk #horror, Brontë & other literary gems, #romcom chick-lit, formulaic Mills & Boon, or smutty #erotica. There's a book for everything - something I've always loved about reading 😁 Pleasure should never carry guilt. Read with abandon!

It took me a week to read this so while good, it just didn't suck me in (no pun intended lol). The Lessers freak me out so much. I might be done with this series.... not sure.

In my quest to get thru some of the 100s of Kindle books that languish unread on my device, I'll restart this. Not sure why I got 10% thru it prior but will just restart....

Phury just isn't that interesting to me. He's the whiniest brother, for sure. I liked Cormia a lot. And, the Blay/Quinn/JM storyline.

I've had a bad month reading wise so far. Only finished one book at this point. I still have about 150 pages to go in The Thorn Birds but good grief that book is borrrrring. I'm half way thru ACOTAR and it's okay but not pulling me in the way of hoped. So what's a girl to do? Start yet another book! I love love love this series but a little bit nervous about this one. We'll see. Fingers crossed!
