Picked this one up at the library (went to get new cards for Frederick County). Cute book to get into the fall season. I‘m not much on graphic books (although my kids love them) but it was a fun, quick story.

This book took me 45 minutes to read and I absolutely adored it!! 🎃
Got my books for #scarathlon. I know I got them early but I was just so excited because this is my first year doing it. #batbrigade @Catsandbooks
😂absolutely here for more funny graphic novels.
The perfect cozy, autumn read. Friends to lovers romance and I am no romance reader, but this sweet story stole my heart! YA graphic novel from the amazing Rainbow Rowell. Highly recommend for you fall-vibes lovers out there. 🎃
Started this festive little gem last night 🎃
5✨What a cute story. Josiah and Deja work at a pumpkin patch in the fall. However, this is their last season together since they will be going to college soon. Their mission, as Deja decrees, is to meet the girl Josiah swoons over ever season that he never talks to. Plus get treats along the way. #Scarathon #TeamSlaughter @Clwojick
Finished my 2nd annual reread of Pumpkin Heads. Now I want ALL the snacks. 🧡🥧🎃🍿🍎🍗
I‘m just so ready for Fall🍁🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁 Pumpkin Spice, Apple Cider, cooler temps🍂🍂Reading one of my favorites!
This book is making me feel like the person you want may be not the person you need and the friend that‘s next to you through all of the tough times is the one you want
This was an incredibly short and sweet graphic novel about “... being the flipper, not the pinball!” Rainbow Rowell and Faith Erin Hicks are a great duo and I hope they work together more!
What a CUTE graphic novel!
The artwork is so lovely, autumnal and atmospheric 🎃
Such a sweet but predictable story with Josiah and Deja but it warmed my heart so much, you can‘t get much more perfect than falling in love at a pumpkin patch! ❤️
A nice, refreshing, seasonal reread. I love Deja, and Josiah is so charmingly oblivious. This was a nice change of pace from the horror story I‘ve been reading. Now to decide if I‘m going right back to Rage or if I need something else light.
Last night I got to 60% done on Rage, and finished up with a long chapter about the onset of the pandemic, highlighting China‘s secrecy and evasiveness and Trump‘s blatant lying. Then I had an anxiety dream in which I was in some really crowded place (clinic, hospital, living facility or some such) and I was the only one wearing a mask, which was also stifling. So today I‘m switching to comfort reading with the tagged book.
Graphic novel haul from the library!
Thank you so much for my #winterswap goodies @bookish_wookish 🤗 I‘ve been wanting to read this for awhile and I absolutely love the beautiful book sleeve. It‘s perfect for my new kindle. Thank you again, and thank you for putting this together @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @TheBookHippie 😘
#LitsyLove
This was a total #blameitonlitsy purchase! I read this book the end of September in just over an hour. It was such a cute and fun Fall graphic novel! Loved the storyline and the art was fabulous. It totally put me in the autumn mood. Loved it!
Here is my October reads for October. Best month this year so far mostly down to #Scareathlon I think. Best read was either the chalk pit or pumpkin heads
Dear Amanda, thank you so much for sending these goodies my way. They came just in time to brighten a grey and frustrating day 🧡
I‘m really excited about both books, and plan on snacking on the chocolate tonight 😄

This book was so goooood! I love it. I will proceed to read it once a year like I do Fangirl. Rainbow Rowell just gets me, y‘all.
First book I going to read for the @DeweysReadathon starting at 8 am EST! I can't wait to figure out what I am going to read after this book!
Historically I‘ve not been much of a YA fan, but Rainbow Rowell is helping change that. This is a cute story. I would think the graphic novel format would be very appealing to YA-aged readers. I imagine it could get some “reluctant readers” hooked on books!
This graphic novel was so warm and cozy; like pumpkin spice and everything nice 🎃

Now that I‘ve finally finished Scream All Night, which was such a good read, this graphic novel will be my commute read for tomorrow. It looks really cute and autumny.
Oh this was just such a cute little graphic novel, I read it in one sitting. I loved the story and the graphics are so sweet. My daughter is now reading it. Plus another 5 points for #Scareathlon #TeamSlaughter @Clwojick
My poor little man was up at 1am last night with a massive nosebleed. He then struggled to get back to sleep so we snuggled up in bed and started reading this. We are both loving it! I read Deja and he reads the Josiah bits, what a charming book!! 😍 🍂 🎃 #scarathlon #teamstoker
Book mail!!! Book mail!!! I‘ve proper fallen off the book buying ban wagon this month and I just don‘t care!! 😂 can‘t wait to read these bad boys!! #scarathlon #teamstoker (sorry for the closely cropped photo, I just got too excited!!)
@megzlynn latest blog post is out.
"I smiled the entire time I read this. The artwork is phenomenal. The story line is simple."

Went to Vromans yesterday, one of my favorite bookstores, and found the signed book. How did I miss this event?? Anyway, glad to have found it and here's a random pic of my Uncles football pumpkin.
Just picked this up from the library. It seems like a good pick for October first. 😊🍂🎃🧡
Of course it‘s fantastic—it‘s Rainbow Rowell and Faith Erin Hicks. A love letter to autumn, pumpkin patches, friendship and that moment when you finally see what is right in front of you. Rowell‘s text is snappy, pitch perfect & hilarious while Hicks art is ideally suited to the story. This is a delightful all ages read for anyone who loves fall and all the fun that comes with it. A fun, quick read that warms that heart and leaves you smiling.
#screamathon time! Here‘s @4thhouseontheleft ‘s photo challenge. I‘ll probably just keep up with the reading challenge but who knows. YAY OCTOBER.

This book was just so so cute! It's a perfect light fall read that captures the fun noncreepy spirit of the season. Reading this was like curling up with the book version of your favorite fall drink. I really want to go to a pumpkin patch like the one in this book! It's almost like a theme park- let me know if anyone knows of one similar or if the authors based it on a particular one! 🎃🍂🍁 #fallreads #fall #pumpkinpatch #autumn #autumnreads
super cute end-of-season romance as only you would expect from Rainbow Rowell.
Cute book! An adorable graphic novel that I devoured in one sitting while browsing Barnes & Noble. I wish I had taken a pic of the art! A whimsical, nostalgic graphic novel about two high school seniors who are best friends at the pumpkin patch they work at, but never talk outside of work. Coming up on their last night before they go off to college, they try and make it their best Halloween ever. Hilarity ensues and ends with a sweet twist.
What a sweet story of friendship and the inevitable changes that happen in our lives as we grow up. This gave me all the autumn feels. Highly recommend!
I keep debating on whether or not I want to read this now or wait until Fall actually starts. Flour doesn‘t seem to care.

I was so grumpy while reading this book (the bookstore had no idea what Snow, Glass, Apples even was, let alone when, or if, they‘d ever get it. But I managed not to shout “But it‘s Neil Gaiman”in anyone‘s face. So I got this as consolation). And this is fine. Both protagonists are sweethearts. It‘s pretty straight forward, but that‘s not a bad thing (unless you wanted Snow White/vampires).
This book was so cute! I fall in love with Josie and Deja and I loved going on a adventure for their last night at the pumpkin patch! I didn't see the book ending the way it did but I thought it was a perfect ending! It felt good to finish a book with everything going on this week I started a couple of books but didn't finish them. So hopefully I am out of my funk!
This was just a delight. It makes me long for autumn, and I loved Josie and Deja. And the pumpkin patch they work at? Yes, please.
