Every Christmas morning as far back as I can recall, my folks would put the 1966 version of The Grinch on the TV while we were waiting for the family to arrive. It wasn't Christmas quite yet without having watched this delightful classic.

#WinterGames The Boyfriend and I watched this for the first time since it's the #CandyCaneCrushers team movie. I've only ever seen the original cartoon. I'm not sure anything will be able to beat my childhood favorite, but this one is a close second. We'll definitely be watching it again next year!

pick1. As a child we always went to see my Great Grandmother in late afternoon and Santa always came when we were gone. We always got new PJ‘s that we could open right away and then we had to wait until after dinner to open the rest. Now as an adult we all spend time at my sister‘s/Mom‘s and play games and the grandkids open gifts.
2. Meal changes all the time..this year it‘s lasagna on Christmas Eve and turkey dinner on Christmas Day!
