My dad had cancer 3 years ago, did radiation & was in remission. He recently got diagnosed with stage 4 cancer & had his first chemo a few weeks ago, he‘s determined to fight. He finally took the plunge & shaved his head this past weekend. He always had the most beautiful hair. It‘s jarring but he‘s rocking the buzz cut.

Hey #hashtagbrigade before things get crazy and I forget to post, I‘m having surgery in 11 days (my uterus is trying to kill me) I‘m hoping to read ahead a little during the next week, and I shouldn‘t miss a day…. But who knows? I‘m having a total hysterectomy and I might be cranky 🤷🏻♀️ so if you don‘t hear from me for a day or three, that‘s why! I will catch up in the days following if necessary! #fuckcancer

1. Daffodils are Spring to me. Always reminds me of #FuckCancer too, having lost so many to it,
2. I honestly cannot think of any books with a Spring setting. Maybe I'm drawing a blank or maybe I've read other settings more... dunno. I can only think of Spring Pools, a poem by Robert Frost.
