My FIL has been admitted to the hospital. They‘ve confirmed he‘s had a few strokes (he had another earlier this week). His kidneys are in really bad shape, but at 90 dialysis isn‘t even in the discussion.
All we can do is take it one day at a time.
Book three and there‘s more questions than answers at this point.

pickThis is the first book in the McBride trilogy and the 17th in the Eternity Springs series. I like that it involves characters from ES but has a new vibe to it. Likable characters and a well developed story. The other two in this trilogy will be on my 2024 #Roll100 list.

I love Polly, Huckle and the rest of the residents of this coastal town. Book 2 is also a “rolled” book this month so I‘ll be jumping in as soon as I finish my current read. That will set up book 3 (a Christmas story) in time for #WinterGames.

pickThis is book 15 in the Eternity Springs series. I think I‘d be lost (or at least not enjoy them as much) if I read them out of order. The wonderful characters are woven throughout each book despite one couple being the focal point of each. These are relaxing, uplifting reads for me.

1. Despite why we‘re here, Brian & I are remembering to take care of us too.
2. Sherlock. I miss him but get a daily “Mornings with Sherlock” pic from home.
3. I have 2 coffee shops on island that I love & lots of ebooks & audiobooks to choose from.
4. Overnight, one area put up a dozen winter inflatables. I love the holidays here. (Wasn‘t expecting holiday music before Thanksgiving)
