This little theatre in a stable across from the tell house was adorable! It was the perfect spot for a poetry reading and a perfect spot for a picture 🖤
Love this 😋📖
1. Poe and ugh I don‘t know. There are so many good ones. As of late I would say Jane Harper. Her writing style is pretty great in my opinion. I know she is new to the scene but I am hopeful she will keep at it.
2. 20th and 21st - historical fiction is not my jam
3. Alone with a good book of course
4. @ReadingRover @HOTPock3tt @m3rquinnbooks @m

Anyone on here a poetry fan? I love anything Poe, and enjoyed Beowolf, but I don't know of any good poetry that is newer. I reviewed a few books, but ended up not liking most of the indie books I've found. It doesn't have to be dark, I enjoy love or life poems too, just don't know of any good authors.
OMG. @outofprint just sent this email. I want it!
I hope this doesn‘t offend anyone, it just made me laugh so much! 😂🖤
Pop up Edgar Allan Poe book! 😮
My super awesome Poe socks from @Lola ( sorry I've tagged you so much today)
#AllHallowsRead #photoadaychallenge #scaryreads #spinechillingpoetry Most of Poes work is of the spine chilling variety but Ulalume is just creepiness at its most poetic. I have a cd called Closed On Account Of Rabies which is famous people narrating Poes work. Jeff Buckley does Ulalume, complete with background music and sounds, and it is the scariest poem I have ever heard, especially considering it wasn't much later he died himself.
