My 11 yr old wanted to sleep near our brand new Christmas Tree tonight, undecorated as it is. It's taken me all week to finally get it up and it's been lying half open in the lounge room since we purchased it about 3 weeks ago!
Even with no work atm I'm still behind on the Christmas preparations but I just love our new 7 ft tree which I had to move furniture for and which comes with the lights already wound in. So Magical.
1. No tree (since it‘s just me for most of the month I don‘t put up a tree)
2. I shop online and in stores (I shop online a lot since stores are a bit far from me)
3. No - again mostly me so no traditions

#DearDecember Day 5: There is clearly #HolidayCheer now in our home in the Middle East. Santa sees the empty spaces in my bookshelves waiting to be filled with his book presents. The photo on the right is a flag-themed plate of desserts for the National Day holiday here at the UAE - still fits #HolidayCheer!

So. I‘m away from home this Christmas. Since I‘m staying in a hotel this year I won‘t have a traditional Christmas tree 🎄. My hubby got me this one so it smells nice and festive when I come home from work .. it won‘t win awards but I ❤️ my Maco (his name)

Every year my brother is very generous and buys me a fresh tree, nothing beats that pine smell. However, I was a bit unprepared for its arrival yesterday so I was unable to decorate but I hope to get to it soon.

Aaaand the tree is up! Yaaay!!! I tried listening to an audiobook while decorating but then the little one decided to 'help' me and made a complete mess. In light of that, please consider my not mentioning an audiobook title as a metaphor for my not having the slightest clue about the story I was listening to because of being distracted. 😂😂😂🎄❤️
