Pretty good. I liked the story and the characters.
Had this for a bit and kept saying I‘d read it during Halloween. Now I‘m actually doing it

I forgot to review this one back in October! I really enjoyed it, in all it‘s high school witchy glory. A great, easy read for the spooky season!
Nutella & strawberry croissants, coffee & a good book & a readathon. Happy Saturday everyone! 📚 🥐 ☕️ #scarathlon #teammonstermash #outstandingoctober
Next up for #scarathlon my week two read will be this gorgeous book, that even if I don‘t enjoy reading I will always enjoy looking at! I‘m going to try and complete at least one physical and one audio book for the challenge each week, hopefully more! 👻 #teammonstermash
Slight magical realism in order to deal with grief and the awkwardness of being a teenager, I‘ll take it. This was fun journey from the first graveyard spell to the last. And I liked that a lot of the side characters got to grow and develop as well.

This one is on my TBR. Hopefully I'll get to it one of these days.

#LittensDressedInBlood Today's prompt is Bring Me To Life
This was such a fun book, and Mila resurrecting her bestie and two mean girls to figure out who murdered them definitely fits the prompt. I kind of want to re-read this!
This book is so morbid and I am loving it 🧟♀️🧟♀️🧟♀️ 🧙🏻♀️
This was a very fun read! I really just loved the story so much, I got lost in it. I can't even pin point what I really liked about it, just that I had fun listening to the story. It is defiently worth picking up! The only critique I have was I wish it was a little more sleuthy.
I stayed up way too late to finish my #doublebookspin for October. This was super good! A teen witch resurrects three dead classmates, including her best friend, to hunt down their killer. There's so much here I loved. I read this book straight through in one go. It's twisty and unputdownable.
Also, I need that title pin on the cover!
@TheAromaofBooks
1 book down for #scarathlon2020! I was so excited when I started it that I didn‘t even realize it wasn‘t on a TBR for any of the other readathons 🙃 Oh well I‘ve got plenty more to read. +16 #TeamHarkness
A YA in which the teen characyera are very realistically teenagery. What happens when the spell you did to briefly reanimate your dead friend so you could help find her killer brings back two other classmates too?
Content note: discussions of suicide, murder, fatphobic remarks
Happy birthday to me! 🎶📚
THIS BOOK WAS SO MUCH FUN! A bit like Death Becomes Her meets Hocus Pocus meets Heathers (ok fine, and The Craft). When Mila‘s best friend and Wiccan partner-in-crime dies under suspicious circumstances, she uses a spell to resurrect her, and unwittingly brings back the two popular girls who died just a few days earlier. The girls have 7 days to find their killer before the spell fades and they die again.
Just finished this hex-ellent book. Highly recommended YA. Loved it so much. Honestly haven't gotten this swept up in a book in ages. Read it!
One of the worst quarters ever has almost come to an end. I deserved this stop at the bookstore. (Remember, bookstores actually make a lot more money from the sale of non-book items. Pick up some socks or buttons or whatever when you pop into your local indie.)
I laughed way too hard at this!!
I enjoyed this book for the most part, but the second half needed something. It wasn‘t a favorite read, but it was fast and entertaining.

On track to finish "Undead Girl Gang” this week.
My mood has already shifted from Meg Cabot, to wanting to finally get around to the new Sara Shepard-we‘ll see!
This week is going to be another busy one, (I feel like I‘ve been saying that for at least a month, now) so any reading I get done I‘ll be happy with.

Finished “The Queen of Nothing”-⭐⭐⭐⭐
Started “Undead Girl Gang,” enjoying it so far
Have a couple of options picked out for my next reading challenge prompts.
@Cinfhen
Oh I desperately wanted this book so I wanted to love it SO BADLY. But I could not get into it for the life of me. I ended up skipping to like the second to last chapter, conforming my guesses were correct, and putting it away.
I started this one before Halloween and so far haven‘t gotten into it but I‘m only 12% in so I can‘t talk 😬
This book was fun, but it was so cheesy (especially the romance) that it was funny- which probably wasn‘t the author‘s intention. 😂🤷♀️
Overall, if you‘re looking for a YA read for spooky season, then check out this book. There‘s witchcraft, zombie girls, and a creepy old abandoned house. What more could you want?

Just finished this book on audio! I really enjoyed the narrator and how the story unfolded. It had fun characters and it did keep me guessing. Oh and it counts for 2 entries of #ScaryScavengerHunt as it has both a witch 🧙♀️ AND zombies 🧟♀️

And with one audiobook finished it is time to start another! This one looks like it might be another fun teen monster read! #scarathlon #TeamStoker

After seeing the cover of this book, I didn‘t need to read anything about it to know I would love it.
This is the best worst book I've ever read. A zombie murder mystery with witches and a good first half, but then things start progressing from absurd to downright hilarious. I actually laughed out loud during the last seven-ish chapters which were so comical I thought I was reading a parody. I'm not even pissed for wasting my time on this because it was comedy gold, though none of the author's intentional attempts at humor worked.
1/5 🌟
Please steer clear of this inconsistent, poorly written, disappointing train wreck. Yet another half way decent idea riddled with multiple points of failed execution and dry characters. Some parts did not make sense and the story would have been better if these parts were believable. Should be a one star, but gave two stars for idea and effort. Too much sarcasm, too little passion.
Thank you so much @VanChocStrawberry for this lovely package. I‘m blown away by your generosity and thoughtfulness. You‘re so sweet. I love it all. I really needed that pick me up (it was my birthday this week and it fell on its face) also you wrapped everything beautifully. The postcards for me to send you in each book also an amazing idea which I might steal for future swaps. #summersantagoespostal

This book made me laugh so many times. Thanks for choosing it @gibblr!
I'll be sending it on soon. :)

Surprisingly cute and dark and tons of fun. This is the kind of YA I can get behind. It's clever and original and real (as real as a book about zombie teenagers can be) without being chokingly angsty. I definitely recommend it.
Happy St. Patty‘s Day everyone! I don‘t do beer, so here‘s my glass of wine. I‘m behind on my March reads in general, especially this book for my #LMPBC. Enjoy what‘s left of your Sunday, Littens!! @IheartYA I wanted you to know I received the book the other day 😁
Magic, zombies, murder, high school drama....what more could you want? The characters are pretty relatable and all the small Hocus Pocus references made me so happy. I definitely recommend it.
Zombie teen girls hunting down their killer is obviously gonna be a fun time. This was an enjoyable, fresh take on the (very tired) zombie trend. Loved that the girls were still teen girls in every way & acted just as they did when alive. Mila is a good character overall — having a fat brown girl into Wicca was really fun, tho at times she felt overly & pointedly brusque. Also the “reveal” felt too random & unexplained. But def a fun read! 3/5 ⭐️
