A Christmas poem from our cats. Luckily mine don‘t mess with the tree, and don‘t show much interest in gifts under it as long as there‘s no ribbon on them. I have to remove any ribbon right away to prevent them chewing on it.

Iliena surprised the vet today by being robustly healthy and yet testing positive for feline leukemia virus. 😿 Xander seems to be immune if he doesn‘t have it after nearly ten years of her aggressive grooming, but we vaccinated him anyway. He gets to go back in a couple of weeks for kitty dental surgery and a booster. Today has been a lot.

My 2nd started book and 1st completed book of 2018. My thoughts... Well, it‘s cute. 🤷🏽♀️ Some of the poems were really funny and clever. Others less so. I feel like some suffered a bit for the sake of having a punchline, so that annoyed me a little. Overall though, it was a cute, quick read that cat owners will definitely be able to relate to.
We went to the Houston Cat Show today and I found Phoenix‘s long lost twin! 😂 We also bought some kitty art, and now I‘m going to relax and read the tagged book which I think is a fitting end to the day. 😸❤️
