There has been so little progress in these stacks over the past few months. I‘ve decided not to enter any giveaways for the foreseeable future. Since I failed my #bookbuyingban, I‘m reinstating that. Additionally, if I do acquire any books, I‘m going to try making sure they are of the Kindle variety!

laurieluna I've put restrictions on what I buy. So not an all out ban but lowering the number coming in each month. My tbr has turned into a monster in the past year so I'm just focusing on completing my Pratchett collection and building my Persephone collection each month until I can get it under control! Jess7 So-so - I don't follow my favorite authors on social media so I have no idea what they're doing, but I do usually know the release dates of their upcoming books. I like to recommend books for book club and I would like to think I could plan my weekend around my TBR pile but I usually don't 😉 8y

batsy That's a great point about bookmarking posts! It would be so helpful if @Litsy had this feature. I got the Fan Girl, too 🤔 I love to look up lists of new releases just to add books to my TBR 😁 But I've no idea what fave authors are up to. 8y

Taking a cue from @MrBook here's some #libraryporn for your viewing pleasure. These are the below-street-level stacks in my library. This is where I go to escape when I'm having a particularly bad day. The light at the end of this tunnel is a window that looks out onto a river. There are approximately 70k books stored on this level.
