The Nightmare Before Christmas is among my all-time favorite films, so when I discovered this audiobook, I knew I had to give it a shot.
I'm thrilled that I did; this is undoubtedly the best audio experience I've had this year.
Merging my beloved movie with MacLeod's enchanting storytelling has secured this book a spot on my top reads of 2025.

pickNever in my life did I expect to root for a serial killer.
This was fun! I really enjoyed Lottie's inner musings, her self-made moral compass, and how her advance age was now working against her.
Placing the daily life of a retiree alongside that of a serial killer creates such a distinctive backdrop.
If you're looking for a clever, gripping thriller infused with humour and wit, look no further.
so-so💯% not surprised that this wasn't a hit for me!

pickI believe I have a new addiction.
As soon as I realised there were Graphic Novels, I just had to get them.
This is a prequel of sorts showing Elias and Hel as Fivers. And yes it was just as ingenious and innovative as the two books I've already read.
I'm not crazy about the artwork, but that won't deter me from getting the other GN that's available.

This was my first pick for July‘s #TitlesandTunes book. In trying to decide which song to pair with it I ended up going down a punk rock rabbit hole. I almost changed it to Fallopian Rhapsody about the Lunachicks, a new to me band, who I‘ve been listening to today. My song choice is a favorite released the same year of the book. Just love everything about #T&T and can‘t wait for the playlist. You all have EXCELLENT taste.
