Hello guys! I‘m loving the month long challenges lately, so here‘s another one! Make the event work for you, however that might be! Put together a specific reading list or plan to mood read. Set some goals for yourself (hours, books read, page count, ARC reviews etc.) or not… Maybe you just want to chill out and read along with us! Whatever works for you!

#BigJuneReadathon Please share! 🌼

Kelly_the_Bookish_Sidekick I have "chosen" nearly all my books to fit my prompts but since I use one book for multiple challenges, I was just thinking that I'm not quite sure where I stand on getting it all finished. This is a great idea! 2y

Allylu Okay. In June, I can possibly finish 3 of my series, 3 of the #MMDSummerReadingGuide books, my #OnceUponABookClub book, and start on Mermaid books at the end of the month. Is it possible? Of course it is! 🤷‍♀️💕📚🧜 2y

Yesterday‘s #bookmail This Tender Land for the #MMDSummerReadingGuide, The Book of Longings for my IRL bookgroup (sadly meeting on Facebook right now), the Sandford because I‘m slowly working my way through Lucas and Virgil‘s respective series, and Tattered on my Sleeve because I must own AJL‘s MC romances in paperback.

Not my favorite so far from the #mmdsummerreadingguide. It really reminded me of The Time Travelers Wife which was a miss for me as well. Enjoyable, but it won‘t be making my favorites list.

LiteraryinLawrence What a beautiful cover though! 5y
Ashley_Nicoletto @LiteraryinLititz It is gorgeous! And I‘ve seen a lot of rave reviews. I struggle with time travel always in all forms. But otherwise it‘s a gorgeous book. 5y

Next read off the #MMDSummerReadingGuide. For the most past she knocks her picks out of the park.

ginnywriteswords This is the best book I‘ve read all year. 5y

It took me a while to get into this book. It went slow and I felt like a lot of the details didn't add to the story. The audio reader was Australian so that was amazing to listen to it in a native accent. The end redeemed it for me. I know this is a debut author so much grace because I know she will improve. #mmdbookclub #mmdsummerreadingguide #summerstooshort

Pickpick

What this story meant to me personally was that no matter what happens to us (even if it is something horrific) we have the choice and the power to stand up for ourselves, stand up for others & to stand up for what is right. It can be an experience where we are shredded to pieces but when we stand back up and begin to move forward we will truly come to see how strong we are.

Pickpick

Murder mystery meets historical fiction in this tale told through alternating timelines. Through Rowan (present day) and William (1921) we learn about the horrific night when Tulsa burned. It is sad to admit that I never learned about the race riots that took place in Tulsa in 1921 until I read this book. I love how the author prompts us to reflect on race relations in the past and the present.
