I‘m only about 60 pages into the book but I have some time. I didn‘t realize the movie was coming out at the end of the month, not next week.

I don‘t think I‘m the demographic for them anymore.
Too bad. I really just hope I can use up my remaining six credits before my November renewal date.
It‘s a shame because I really used to look forward to seeing their selections each month and I always bought the yearly membership.

I‘m VERY late to the party for this #LSFBC #LitsySciFiBookclub and May #bookspin pick.
It took me three tries and several weeks to get past page 100. I almost dnf‘d this one. I‘m so glad I didn‘t. Once it clicked for me I really enjoyed it.

I considered skipping #BOTM again, but I liked the add-on, so I figured why not since I did skip #aardvarkbookclub this month.
I think I‘m just annoyed that I‘m going to have to spend full price for the Sager and Ware books because the library holds are going to take months to come in. 😣

I look forward to every S.A. Barnes book. It‘s how I discovered sci-fi space horror and I‘m all in.
They are just so much fun. I should have tried them sooner as I‘m a big space monster movie fan.
This was a lot of fun; quite the ride. Perfect? No. But FUN. If anyone has any recs on books like this, please let me know below.

Well…I discovered #pango.
It‘s going to be dangerous because there are a ton of vintage 1970s #agathachristie covers on there, which the #christiescapers group knows I 😍. I have 3 coming.
Bright side is I‘ve starting selling books there too.

This was a super cute, quick and fun read.
My only complaint is the overuse of eye rolling 🙄 mentioned every other paragraph for a bit. It was noticeable enough it actually took me out of the story.
I wish more of the old gang were in it, but it would have gotten too crowded; and the new characters were great.

Last night I tried this bourbon to see if I like bourbon 🥃. 🤷
I‘m liking this second book a lot but if I took a shot every time someone rolled their eyes I‘d be passed out in less than an hour.
It‘s noticeable enough that it took me out of the story. ☹️

I like Sutton and I appreciated her story a lot; it was very heartfelt. However, I thought there would have been a bit more crafting in the book, and I wish there were photos of her career AND her crafts. There was some timeline shuffling in the chapters so I got a little confused a few times. Low pick for me.
I kept switching from hardcover to #audiocrafting. Now I‘m getting ready to crochet a #bookcover #grannysquare for my #readingblanket

As usual all my holds came in at once from the library so that blows up my planned #TBR

I really enjoyed this book. The picture puzzles were intriguing & the twists compelling. I would have finished it in one go if I didn‘t have to work. 😁 I hate to use the word “fun” because there are some really bleak moments in this book, but it WAS fun to read.
Didn‘t have the perfect green, and it was a lighter weight so I added an additional round, but I still like this #grannysquare #bookblanket #readingblanket2025 #doublespin

#BOTM is here! I cracked and got The Man Made of Smoke so I could get the add-ons I really wanted and I had massive FOMO about not picking up Wild Dark Shore before.

This was much better than I thought it was going to be. I actually laughed out loud (the Barbara clinic scene) in front of the #manpanion, my sister & her husband (they were watching the football draft so I was reading). I liked the crocheting in it.
