Reading 8 ARCs was a good idea and encouraged me to actually read more. I'm going to try that again in June.
That "clock exercise" is not difficult, but I keep overthinking it.

April wrap-up and May Goals
Had a cold in early April. Cannot recommend 0/10. I did some yoga, but not as much as I had planned.
Managed to read 12 ARCs. Very happy about it.

I hope to read 8 ARCs, and I want to be able to do the "clock" exercise (pelvis/lower back rotation) without having to think about the steps. Plus, getting better at some of the other ex. my new PT gave me.

March:
Did my back in around mid-month, hence not much yoga. I'm hoping to do more yoga now that my back is better.
Re-read Hitchhiker's Guide last night.
April:
Need to flatten the curve of #MountARC, I'm hoping to read at least 3 ARCs per week. That should be doable.
Also, more yoga, more walks, more fresh air.

I've kept a tab on how much water I drink. It was obviously necessary to log it again, and I've been feeling better since. Regular reminders, a water bottle or glass of water close by.
March update
I was doing very well with daily yoga until yesterday - hurt my back, when I stuck a water bottle into my kid's rucksack. So, spent time on the mat yesterday, but it definitely wasn't quality time.

February was a slow month. I started "The Mermaid and Mrs Hancock" from the physical TBR, but still haven't finished it.
I didn't follow YWA as much as I had planned, but I spent time on the yoga mat nearly every day.
My plan for March, due to a certain nerdy birthday creeping up at me, re-read The Hitchhiker's Guide, the illustrated edition. ?
Yoga and going for more walks.

When things get hectic, overwhelming or I feel stressed, I take a deliberate break. Do 15min of yoga, prepare a nice cup tea, go for a walk,...
And, extremely important for me: sticking to my overly detailed diary. I tend to procrastinate. This way I have set times for when I tackle the important paperwork or the dirty chores or the boring stuff, and don't get overwhelmed or stressed.

I love my body for carrying me through life, for being strong enough to let me get away unscathed with 2/3 of the genius ideas I have, and for showing me my limits, yet letting me push past those bit by bit.
I love the scars on my skin, each has at least one story to tell. Most of those stories are about the above mentioned genius ideas.

Survive the month? School's back to in person, full class classes, and lots of exams - Kid#1 has one every other day, Kid#2 one per week plus "instead of an exam papers" - - - Purgatory for me; kids don't want to study, are happy with sub-par results. ???

I think my January went well.
Wanted to read 8 books. Crushed that goal. It's been 25 books.
Noticed that I can do either yoga or bodyweight training, not both. But I'll keep trying to get both in.

#GhostCat decided to help me do my daily yoga routine. Or this is simply the only room where she can escape the homeschooling tantrums of my 10y/o. (My daughter threw the door in my face when I tried to explain long division to her. She knows how to do it. ?? She's in a "can't do this" mood, which actually means "I'd rather play Mahjongg on the laptop than pay attention to the teacher on zoom")

Week 1 went not so well.
I finished 4 books and I know that 8 books is a goal I can easily meet.
Next week might turn out better for the other goals. 😁

40k steps, but I managed to get nearly 7 hours of sleep each day. A few cardio exercises, a bit of yoga.
Means this week was a not a huge win, but I'm proud of myself for making sleep a priority. 😁

Didn't manage 50k steps, will probably end at around 42k. It's okay. As you can see, especially the last three days we're quite good.

Another week has flown by. I had a good week. Lots of steps. A bit of yoga every day. Went swimming.
Self-care Monday: Got my hair cut even shorter. BFC is showing signs, or better, collarbones and cheek bones. The hair dresser said, shorter would look good on me, so I braved it. I love it!

I finished a book, started a new audio book, and read 2 graphic novels. I'm doing ok on my quest to give up soda. The Ohio Renaissance Festival started this weekend, snd @cobwebmoth and I are working out there again. So we'll be getting plenty of exercise on the weekends through October.

Okay week. I thought it was slow, but it wasn't.
Went swimming on Friday and Saturday - got stung by a wasp yesterday that cut the visit to the swimming pool short. Did a bit of yoga. Read books, but I guess I started more than I finished.

Another week gone already. #BFCR3 week 3 check in time. I had a few good walks this week, and it felt great to be doing some more physical work for a few days. I managed to get some reading time, and got hooked on a new to me comic series. Not a bad week.

Definitely managed my steps - 20 visits to the DIY store helped a lot.
No exercise - I'm thinking carrying tiles, buckets of dirt,... - count
No yoga - I'm feeling it, my back hurts.
Lots of floors.
Books? Not sure whether I really finished one.
Bathroom remodeling not finished. Unfortunately.

I've been standing instead of sitting at work a lot more, and generally getting more mobile. I took my kids to Kings Island and walked for what felt like 50 miles. 😉

Week 1 was awesome, if I may so so myself.
There were two 30min workouts and lots of smaller workouts throughout the week (arm circles while waiting for the kettle to boil, half squats,...)
I'm exceptionally proud of myself, and exhausted.

Another week gone already! #BFCR2 is over, and round 3 starts tomorrow. Here's my week six check in. I was able to get some walking done on my breaks at work this week. @cobwebmoth and I enjoyed a beautiful day and river walk today. I finished an audiobook, and several graphic novels this week. Thanks @wanderinglynn for organizing this!

The day isn't over yet, but this week was very active.
Overall, I can say I read a lot more than 45 books. My guesstimation is 60 - there were cookbooks and picture books among them.
I'm more flexible than I was 6 weeks ago. My shoulders are less stiff and less pain in my shoulders is a huge win for me.

What a busy week! We had a short trip to Niagara Falls, went to an amusement park, and are working at a festival this weekend. All involved lots of walking in the heat. Between the Niagara trip, and Kings Island I think we did over twelve miles.
I did manage to read a couple graphic novels, and I got a good start on my #LMPBC book.

It was miserably hot this week, so I didn't get to take my walks this week, but @cobwebmoth and I went to a concert Friday evening. Almost 6 hours on our feet in the heat. It was great! Hawthorne Heights still puts on a great show.

After a week of the whole family fighting off a nasty summer cold, I managed very little physical activity. Until Friday night, that is. We helped in this food truck at a local festival. So much running around! Hopefully this next week is better.

It was a busy week, but I managed a walk every day. Plus I only had soda twice this week. I'll eventually give it up for good. I'm halfway through The Dream Thieves on audio, and I'm loving it so far! I managed to read a couple graphic novels as well.

The rain has finally stopped for a few days! I was able to take a walk on my lunch break, I got in another walk this evening at the cemetery with @cobwebmoth , and I dropped the car off to get worked on in town and walked home. It has been a beautiful day for walking and listening to The Dream Thieves on audio! #BFC #BookFitnessChallenge
