Peter Capaldi is literally the only reason I decided to come to Fan Expo Canada 2019. I met him in Ottawa in 2017 but this is the first time I've met him with my Twelve cosplay! (He dubbed it fantastic.) AND he gave me a hug so now I am officially dead LOL 😂😂

So many of you commented when I recently posted about my daughter getting her senior pictures made, so I wanted to share a few of my favorites with you. Not exactly book-related - although I could tag Ballet Shoes or The Hunger Games 😉. I'm so thrilled with the different facets of her personality that our photographer captured - the ballerina, the archer, & the pop culture fanatic.

I am at Terrificon in Connecticut and there are so many people. I did see John Barrowman and now it makes me want to watch Torchwood and Doctor Who.

I really need to find this special and re-watch it! I loved it so...also John Hurt was a marvel. #books #booklover #whovian

I know I keep posting photos but I had to share this photo from 5 years ago! @ErinSueGreads and my first Starfest together! She was River Song I was the 11th Doctor. It was really the first weekend we ever hung out and my life has been changed since that weekend! Friends can be an awesome influence in your life! Slowed down a bit in December 2018 with "only" 13 books read.
Book of the month: Doctor Who: The Vault, by Marcus Hearn. So much geekiness packed into a single book.

The actual audio book doesn't seem to be in the Litsy database, but wheeeeeee lighthearted fun!

1) Doctor Who (I had to add the latest doctor separately, Jodie)!
2) Spending time with family and ya know, reading. Eating. Pretending I‘ll be doing that last one different in 2019. 😆
3) Historical fiction
4) Asking my brain where it all went wrong that we are still awake at 6a.
5) 13th Doctor Who‘s Funko POP!

Highly recommended for Who fans! Lots of tidbits and photos to browse through. It was published before Day of the Doctor aired, so not much detail on that, but it does mention An Adventure in Space and Time 😊

Wow, the writer of the serial "Full Circle" (which introduced Adric) was only 18! ? And both he and Matthew Waterhouse were members of the Doctor Who Appreciation Society.

Neither the box nor the badge looks much like Jon Pertwee 😂

Still enjoying this doctor but really the setting didn‘t look like Norway in the winter and no one was freezing in their light coats like they should have been. Or is it just this south Texan who can‘t handle Norwegian winters?

This book doesn't appear to be in the Litsy database. 🤷 Maybe it's not even a book - just a short story? Anyway, it was fun - Eleven, Amy, and Rory, and aliens.

I wasn‘t sure about a female Doctor but I haven‘t been disappointed. The Rosa Parks episode was beautiful. Eloquently done and right in the feels.

If I buy one more Doctor Who shirt I may have to buy another dresser... ♡thedoctor♡

Not really book related but exciting nonetheless....this fall we Whovian‘s are getting a our new doctor - and the doctor is female. Of course, I‘ve known this for months but I‘m damn happy about it. Also, I seriously need some folks to just get over it....the negativity around the casting of the 13th Doctor makes my head hurt! #proudwhoivan #tardis

1. The Weeping Angels are my favorites, but I also loved the Vashta Nerada from Silence in the Library.
2. I really enjoy watching izombie, but The Walking Dead comics are great.
