🌼I live in what they call garden apartment which means I live in a hole😳😂the last apartment in a five story building. I have a small patio but in front of my living room (glass sliding door) I only see the balcony, part of my small patio, wood fence & some trees behind the fence🤷🏽♀️but I love this privacy🙌

I don‘t read many novels with this topic so this is a popular book mentioned in this prompt.
I have the English edition but I saw the translated title and it was curious, quite different 😳 Perra (female dog) is used the same as- b#%$& woman 🤷🏽♀️Well, how would you describe Carrie in those first chapters?

I read this book in May 2017, not the best story, slow pace but it had something that I liked. It was a sad romance story between these two characters 💔

Tuesday & Wednesday I received books I ordered from the Women‘s Fiction Prize long list that I wanted to read, books for #LittensLoveRomance BuddyRead @Staycurious and for #AuthorAMonth @Soubhiville
Those books made me so happy. Some of the packages were left just in front of my door😱♥️Which is very unusual. They use to leave packages in another place.
Thanks @Read4Life 🥰

🌹My grandmother Not present anymore in this physical world but present always in my thoughts and♥️
🌹 I will admire every strong female character that appear in books I love. Not necessarily a heroine but characters I admire or love. I just admire the live Katniss felt for her sister.
But if I have to mention heroes in fiction,...well, those in marvel and DC are quite fun to follow....in movies🤣
Thank you @TheSpineView 🥰♥️

🎥 Elegy with Ben Kingsley and Penelope Cruz-movie was better
🎥The Secret In Their Eyes/El Secreto De Sus Ojos by Eduardo Sacheri both movie and book were good but the movie (Argentina version) has a different twist but it was a good adaptation.
🎥The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (Swedish version) was a different but good movie adaptation.
Thank you @Eggs 🥰♥️

#SpringSkies Day 5 #InvolveArt
I read this novel long time ago (free translation: Matisse‘ Girlfriend ? Maybe?🤷🏽♀️). It has many unrealistic/absurd situations around the art world with funny situations using sarcastic/satire tone. But it was read long time ago. I should read it again and see what would be my reaction. It has low rating😳but I remembered I enjoyed it. Author is from Valencia.

This is for #LiteraryDeadBookClub by YouTuber @Booksandlala for the month of February 😳I will read it....eventually 🤷🏽♀️☺️
@Eggs @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks
I read 9 books during March which was amazing for me in comparison to last month. I‘m finding my peace and equilibrium in my reading📚🙌
I read #BookSpin #DoubleSpin and one bingo line @TheAromaOfBooks
I also completed, on time😅 #AuthorAMonth @Soubhiville
Best book read this month: Brotherless Night
I enjoyed very much: Kill for Me Kill for You and Edinburgh Dusk
Last book completed during the month of March. I couldn‘t finish another book. Second book read from the Women‘s Prize Fiction long list.
A family saga during Sri Lanka war. So hard and sad. I searched for some information about this time and it was terrible, so many people died, so long this war lasted😢 💔
Beautifully written but hard to read. 4.5/5⭐️
As most of the thrillers I have read but I continue loving this genre😂it has some unrealistic parts. One event was pretty predictable but that last twist was a surprise to me. I enjoyed this story. A fast pace reading. First time I read a book by this author but I have a couple of books by him but started with this new release🤷🏽♀️☺️ 3.8⭐️
This is a collection of short stories about “despair and desire in the modern day Ireland” (book blurb). As always in my experience, some short stories are better than others. But I can say that what I like in all of them was author‘s writing style to describe the places, so atmospheric. Love the characters voices and love this cover. This the first time I read a book by this author, definitely it would not be the last one 3,5⭐️
I think that this story focused more in the introduction of each characters, their personalities, background, and to be familiar with Holmes‘ methodology than the mystery per se. Maybe that‘s why the conclusion of the mystery was like something rehearsed not spontaneous, like telling us, “this is the way Holmes will resolve his cases”🤷🏽♀️I still enjoyed it. 3.5/3.75 ⭐️
Family drama 100% with funny parts. Too long but I was interested to know about characters chaotic lives. Scarlet and Feather are two friends that decided to have a business in something similar to a catering. But many things happen to own the place and they also need to face their respective families and couples. A predictable ending. 3⭐️I love these editions and the end papers are also beautiful
Last book read by this author until she writes another novel. I could say this was my least favorite amongst her novels. Maybe was that ending😳🤷🏽♀️ However, I like how she describes characters and places, very atmospheric. You feel that hot weather 🥵. I think the book blurb is prefect to describes the story: “three brothers, one death, no answers”👌 3.5/3.8⭐️
Unpopular opinion I guess. I didn‘t enjoy this story. It started so well and there were intparts but sometimes I felt disconnected with the story with details. In my opinion it was not well integrated. I have a couple of books by this author 😬2.5⭐️
Book 2 in this trilogy. We continue knowing the main character and his family, specially his brother. I enjoyed the mystery and the interaction between these characters. There are funny parts. I want to know how the trilogy will ends. 3.8 ⭐️Love the cover😍
My 2 copies of this book. The UK edition was from a swap but I forgot or lost the note where I use to write the swap and who sent it to me.
I enjoyed this book and as always, love the way Mr. King describes the characters. An interesting sci fi novel. However, I think it was unnecessarily too long but who will tell that to this author?☺️So hard for Luke. I like the relationship between these characters. Some little gory scenes as expected😆3.8⭐️

This was a heartwarming story. I liked and care about Tova and Marcellus. There were predictable parts and others I think were a little abrupt specially that ending. But still, I liked it, how Tova went through her grief, her loneliness, her second chance in life to be with other persons she care❤️3.8⭐️

Unpopular opinion. I didn‘t enjoy this book as much as I wanted or as much as many people did🤷🏽♀️I found characters so immature, the story too cheesy, repetitive and I didn‘t care about the characters or their story. I found it bored😳2.5/3⭐️But I like the cover☺️
Read in February 2024
What a family drama about these two friends. You will know about Akorfa perspective of what happened between she and Selasi. But then you will listen Selasi perspective and things will be seen in a different perspective about what happened between these two friends and the rol of Akorfa family. It was interesting to know the dynamics of these families, their culture, traditions, beliefs. It has some sad parts. 4⭐️
Book read I. February 2024
This is about 4 women that became friends, these are their stories about their infidelities. I think they justified their infidelities instead of being honest with their spouses and the May, lack of communication. But it is also about friendship and at the end of the novel, each of them grew as a person. 3⭐️I almost DNF in those first chapters. Nominated in the Planeta Prize🤷🏽♀️
