Lord if we could stop with the snow that would be great 😭 it's up to my mid shins and still coming down like rain

OMG this is a much needed snow day. I have been off a day all week and it was throwing me off so much. Can‘t remember the last time I was this excited for it to finally be Friday. It‘s also the start of #AnyWayYouReadathon so it‘s extra perfect timing. I‘ll be posting my goals for that soon!

And here it is... My favourite story of the series!
This short story is based a few months after the final book and takes us on a journey to meet the rest of the planet called New World. And let's just say what we meet on this journey is peaceful and horrific and WOW! I want more adventure like this!

1. After a January of no snow, nature suddenly realized it was winter and dumped snow on us 3 times last week...and it's snowing again now!
2. Nothing beats the coziness of reading in front of the fire with the smell of delicious food cooking/baking in the air. I love reading fantasies in this weather because it's so much fun going to other worlds when you're stuck indoors.

Hello team! As Ottawa is digging its way out from under our first dumping of snow, I put the team name suggestions in a toque (very Canadian of me, I know) and we got Team #ReadNosedReindeer! While my husband is ecstatic that I accidentally chose his suggestion, I hope the rest of the team likes it as much as he does! I also want to check if we wanted to do a holiday card swap amongst ourselves. Let me know in the comments! Now...to shoveling!

See that arrow? It points to the mailbox, at the end of our driveway. Shoveling this heavy snow is like trying to lift wet cement. 💪 The three of us are now taking a break before going out again...of course I'm reading (White Oleander) and checking #Litsy!❄️❄️❄️

Looking out our front door, one would be hard pressed to remember that a couple days ago we were in the 50s here 😂👏🏻. Now it's snow, snow, snow in the low 20s ⛄️⛄️⛄️. Well, you obviously know what this means, dear Litsyan: books and tea and bookish things 😎👍🏻.

A quick little interesting look into the world beyond what we see in Chaos Walking, and it takes place after the events in the trilogy. While it's not focused on our main characters, I can say that it's definitely worth the read :)

Welp. I'm snowed in and stranded in the suburbs. As soon as I publish the second episode of My Week in Tinder, I'll be curling up by the fire and catching up on some reading. Stay warm!

Absolutely loved the Chaos Walking trilogy by Patrick Ness, so when I discovered there were interim books and all it took was a cheeky email to Ness' publishing house. Well, I couldn't resist and now they're here! So excited read them all but especially Snowscape
