A short story told entirely through letters by the wounded parties. A short and fantastic story. Full review here: https://thecuriousmagpie2018.wordpress.com/2019/11/19/review-evidence-of-the-aff...

Excellent short story for my flight to Arizona. I loved the writing style of reading the letters between the characters. And that ending was so good!! 👍

bookladyreads @NatalieR I read Daisy Jones back in July and that book was fantastic. And it really stuck with me. It was the type of book you continue thinking about months after you've read it. Whenever you read it I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. 3mo

I normally don‘t read short stories, and I‘m glad I read this one. I chose EVIDENCE OF THE AFFAIR because it is an epistolary story, and I love epistolary stories. It‘s about letters exchanged between a man and a woman who have discovered their spouses are having an affair together, it‘s engaging, sad, thought provoking with a surprisingly lovely ending.

This was an Audible deal a few weeks ago and as soon as I saw TJR was the author, I snapped it up without reading the synopsis. To my delight, it‘s set in one of my favorite formats, told through a series of letters during the 70s. There‘s even a quick reference to Daisy Jones which had me grinning! The audiobook is only an hour and 15 minutes and is well worth the read. I adored this, just as I have all her other books. 5⭐️

When Carrie found out her husband is cheating on her with David's wife, she decided to tell David thru letters & developed a friendship with each other...
This one just proved again what a genius of a writer she is! Told entirely in the format of letters, yet the characters came alive & story feels completed with twist & emotions. I wish &can totally picture it developed into a full length novel 😍❤️ LOVE IT! 5⭐️/5

Thoroughly enjoyable epistolary #audiobook. The main letters are between the two spurned partners of the couple having the extramarital affair. I loved the twists and turns and how the relationships were revealed. Great narrators, great ending. Only $1.95 on #Audible US.

There is a lot of raw emotion in this little story. I felt a big range of emotions, but full disclosure: I had huge personal interest in how the spouses handled discovering this inappropriate relationship. So discussable! TJR‘s storytelling is so great, oh my gosh. I love her full-length books most, but I can appreciate this one for what it is.

A quick read/listen, available in both formats in Kindle Unlimited (115 pages in Kindle, 1:19 on audio)

This short epistolary work has just what I want from a TJR book. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This night has not been great, but this book was. The ending was absolutely perfect. Good books and good wine can make anything better, right?

I love TJR. I have read and will read everything she writes. This is a fantastic short story that ends satisfactorily, although there definitely could have been more added. If this were a full length book, I would have devoured it in one sitting. My favorite part, though, was the mention of Daisy Jones who is the main character in her next book. That was a great little Easter egg.
