I did have enough energy to make some dough for bread. It is currently rising. I am going to make Dutch oven bread. A first for me. I usually just use my bread machine. 🍞 ❤️

pickThis is the latest book in the Interstellar Brides series. This is the story about Captain Marz, who was mentioned in another book, and his second Lt. Lance. It is a great addition to the series. Loved the plot and characters. 4.5 ⭐️

so-soThis book had promise but fell a bit short. I didn't hate it, I just didn't connect with the characters. The plot was good. However, it is always about the characters for me and in this book I wasn't feeling it. 3⭐️.

I started this week working on developing a spreadsheet for tracking the book I read in 2025. It will also track challenges, book clubs, and time spent reading among other things. I still have my reading journal for 2025 I made. I plan to do both next year and see what works best for me.

📘 I like to plan. However, mostly just the big stuff. Too much planning leads to unnecessary stress.
📘 Tagged. Lots of unplanned stuff in this story, i.e. love, death, pregnancy, betrayal, etc. It was a really good story and is part of a series but can be read as a stand-alone.

pickBook two of the Twisted series was just as good as the first, maybe even a bit better. It is a forbidden romance with all the feels. Loved these characters, especially Rhys, and the story really worked. 4.5 ⭐️ I already have the third book on hold. Can't wait!!

bailedI tried on multiple occasions to read this one. I made it to 25% and couldn't make myself finish. Never got into the story and didn't care about the characters. This is a DNF. #HailTheBail
