So what‘s the Goodreads scam? I rarely use Goodreads but an old review I did suddenly started getting likes…but only by people whose name begins with an M. I‘m baffled. What‘s that all about?
Pretty good reading year, although I didn‘t hit my goal. I had a slump in the spring that slowed everything down and we bought a new house in April, in which we spent over a month renovating. I also didn‘t have an overwhelming favorite of the year, although Alice Feeney books were at the top. How was your reading in 2022?
I was one book short this year, but does it really matter? I enjoyed what I read and that‘s all that really matters.

Finished my 2020 challenge earlier this week! This is the most I‘ve ever read in a year, so I am super proud it happened with two months still to go in the year!

Yoga has been saving my sanity lately and it definitely deserves more time so I'm lowering my reading goal to accommodate. Last year was crazy and so far work proves to be even crazier this year already. The blog is still going strong and I look forward to trying to incorporate social media into it more. My Goodreads challenge this year, I always up it by five since I started in 2016 with 30 books. I set it low so I don't have to stress about achieving it. I know I will read more but that will be a plus.
Don't stress about your challenges just do whatever you want to do and is plausible for you. 😘📚📖

Does goodreads randomly log anyone else out? I‘ll browse on my phone (iPhone 7 safari) and I‘ll get logged out and have to log back in with Facebook. Does this happen to anyone else?
I started on #Goodreads in 2016, although I have also shelved and tagged books that I read before then. There are definitely books with multiple tags, too. I just made some new shelves and have learned things. I guess I like fantasy way more than I thought!

I was surprised by how few of the books I‘d read tbh. I guess there were a lot of categories covering a lot of genres. I‘m not expecting any of my faves to win but I enjoy the general vibe! I‘ll try and tick a few more off before the end of the year. Who did you guys vote for?
Here‘s *Veronica Roth* accepting her achievement award at the #goodreadschoice 10th anniversary party. Behind her are three top Goodreads reviewers, including my two favorites, Karen Brissette and Emily May. I also somehow won one of the raffle prizes (6 month audible subscription) plus got a swag bag! Voting opens at 11 pm tonight and I can tell you the list looks pretty great!
GUYS. I randomly got invited to this Goodreads event tonight and it was SO awesome. It wasn‘t that big of an event, so I saw most of the writers on this list while milling around sipping wine (Dave Cullen was behind me on the bar line for a bit). I took the elevator up with EL James and Colleen Hoover. They did a little awards ceremony (which I‘ll post next) and then announced this year‘s nominees! #goodreadschoice

Has anyone else updated their Goodreads? If so what do you think? I quite like it, it's fresh and I think it has needed it as it hasn't updated this dramatically for awhile and things have become boring.
Anybody else having issues with Goodreads lately? Mine crashed and when I logged back in, it was like my whole account was reset or a new account was created... I‘ve tried everything I can and can‘t get all my old info back...
And the 1 book on my Read shelf is nothing I‘ve even read... so frustrating!
I really don‘t use it for anything other than tracking what I‘ve read, but it still makes me mad

In case anyone is having issues with with GR not showing books read, they are aware of the issue. This is the notice from the desktop version. (This notice did not show on my mobile app version.)

I‘m really happy I exceeded my goal of reading 50 books in 2017 by reading 60 books! I‘m keeping my 2018 reading goal at 50 books, but I‘m hoping I‘ll exceed it again! Happy 2018, everyone!
