This was announced in January but I haven‘t checked it out yet but it‘s a really awesome idea. Originally it was only open from 2-5am but hours have been extended. I wonder if there are any other Texan littens who have checked it out? Link to the original article below.

My partner and I recently used up a bunch of birthday gift cards and splurged on this super comfy reading chair. The joke that day was about how we only got one and we‘d have to fight over who gets to sit in it. Well, it just got delivered and it looks like the cats have decided to usurp it already. Typical!

Do people ever bring their OWN BOOKS to the library, for the peace and quiet and use your facility for a place to read their books?

Spent all weekend rearranging furniture, moving books and bookshelves from one room to another, watching my husband put together my new furniture (THAT CHAIR 😍), and cleaning. Now I have the whole day to enjoy my new, amazing space and start a new book! HAPPY 2018! 😽

I haven‘t been reading that much lately, but that will change right now 😄 we went to Ikea today, which means that I finally have a reading nook 😍

This my reading room. The desk was made by my maternal grandpa's father about 60 years ago. #shelfie

So, I was feeling like I needed 1) a project 2) a change. So, I switched rooms with my daughter. She now has a bigger room with a window she can see out of! And I now have a nice cozy room to call my reading nook! I got rid of my desk to make room for this old but super comfy chair! I love it all so much and had to share on Litsy because you guys and gals understand!

I love how The Reading Room is decorated, they have some lovely artwork and the old school telephone is charming.

I just realized that I totally forgot to post a picture of this little gem of a place yesterday. It's the Wellcome Collection's reading room and it's any book lover's heaven for sure. If you're ever in London, check it out. They also serve afternoon tea.
