Alex Finlay combined the true incidences of the Albuquerque, New Mexico Blockbuster massacre and the Austin, Texas I Can't Believe It's Yogurt Massacre for this Thriller. Not specifically noted but too close to home for it to be a coincidence. Great Read!

It is a Delicious Black Tea with Cinnamon, Ginger Root, Star Anise, Orange Peel, a Hint of Pumpkin Spice and Rooibos (I don't know what that is but it's good ?) I'm usually a Teetotaler when I read but I feel like a glass of wine tonight while reading "Lies". It's a mashup of True Lies/Mr. and Mrs. Smith, although not a Blockbuster it's still a cute little read.

This is a fictionalized story woven around a real serial killer of the early 1900's New Orleans plus an added bonus of the history of the city makes for a recommended read.

This book reads like a made for TV movie and thankfully it only had 200 pages because had it been longer I would've had to bail. 🌫️

Although the subject matter was just wrong on every level the story sucks you in and you can't put this book down until the last page. ☀️🌬️

Another main character that's drunk and reckless with a unsurprising/unbelievable ending

I'm definitely in the minority with that I didn't love this book. I'm an animal lover and it was hard reading about constant animal killing, yes it was important to the storyline and I thought it would stop at some point...it didn't.

I took this at Eden Gardens State Park but used a dark filter to fit the Gothic theme of this book. I've seen mixed reviews but I have to say I liked this one.

I won this book on Goodreads and it came with a gift, a nutcracker in a pretty bag. It's heavy duty quality made to last, I love it! The author also wrote a personal message inside the book

Excellent read! A true story of a Army plane going down in New Guinea during WWll, 3 injured survivors and no way to get them out

I grew up in the Bay area of California in the 70's and 80's and remembering this all over the news but I was young and only half paid attention, now to use this same technology to catch the Zodiac (if still alive) that hit even closer to home. It is a great 4th July since they've caught the monster
