I had set my 2024 book goal at 100 books and I reached that last night when I finished my 100th book of the year!! 🎉🎉🎉
I had set my 2024 book goal at 100 books and I reached that last night when I finished my 100th book of the year!! 🎉🎉🎉
Yes, I made my reading goal 100 books this year and I am well on my way to achieving it!! #sundayfunday @BookmarkTavern
mine is 52 books every year and so far so good for the last 3 yrs since im a slow reader… @BookmarkTavern
I did a thing today…I hit my annual reading goal for the year. I have used @goodreads since 2012 and last year was my first year using @the.storygraph too.
Now to see how many more books that I can read this year!
QOTD: Do you do a yearly book challenge? If so, what is your annual goal?
It‘s time for a little #NetGalleyGroup #NGGSpringClean hosted by the amazing @AllDebooks !
Behold! My goals! Four of my oldest ARCs! 😅
#NetGalley
#ReadAway2024 @Andrew @DieAReader @Ghabi4Roses
Major reading goal=read more books from my tbr. Buddyreads & readathons give me the opportunity to explore new authors and explore more genres. I will be reading this year some books chosen in 2023 for some of these reading activities, I bought the books but couldn‘t read them😳I‘m a slow reader🤷🏽♀️I also want to read some big books I own, I started with Game Of Thrones series.
At the beginning of last year I didn‘t think this was a realistic goal but I did (actually read 101 books for the year). I started listening to audiobooks this year which allowed me to read more. Definitely plan to continue with the same goal for 2024.
I haven't set any reading goals for 2024, but have identified a few reading directions. I'd like to do more re-reading, dig into fairy tales, and tackle the unread books on my shelf. (A Book outlet order is enroute as I write. 🙈)
I used those 'directions' to create my January 2024 #bookspin list. I have lots of #TOB books to get to as well.
Here's to kicking off another great year of reading!
@TheAromaofBooks
Setting four book goals last year mostly worked out, so I‘m going to stick with it!
I‘m so excited to get started! #NewYearResolutions
I did manage it! Yay!
I can't believe that I actually read 100 books. (Last year, I read 67.) A lot of them were ebooks - about 70% of them.#goodreads #myyearinbooks
#sundayfunday @BookmarkTavern
My goal was to read 125 books and as long as I get a chance to finish the 20 pages I have left in my book I will end the year at 129!
I‘ll have a better idea once I finalize my spreadsheet, but for now I can say it was a mixed bag!
I didn‘t really set a numerical goal, but I think I will have read 74 or 75 depending on whether I finish anything else today.
I bailed on #ReadingTheAmericas2023 but left many of the selections on my TBR.
I finished at least ten books published in 2023 and read approximately 75% of #authoramonth and book club selections.
#SundayFunday
I‘m always shocked (happily so) when I see how much I actually read during the year! I never feel like I get through enough but clearly I was busy 🤣. Most of these are from audiobooks, which have definitely become my primary way of consuming books over the last few years. I can‘t wait to see what I read next year! #goodreads #myyearinreview
Audiobook listening…accurate!
I‘ll be lucky if I make it halfway to the original goal I set for myself…I‘ve had more impressive reading years, that‘s for sure!!
Still going to try to squeeze in a couple more.
I did more buying new books and collecting them this year than I‘ve actually been reading, admittedly.
Anyone else have a slow reading year?
No? Just me? Okay.
😥😅😓
#sundayfunday @BookmarkTavern
I absolutely do… it gives me something to work towards and I love celebrating on my mini check-ins!
And with “Tastes Like War” I‘ve reached this year‘s reading goal 🎉 Seven more weeks to go until the end of the year!
As we roll into November I only have 12 more books to go to reach my goal of reading 125 books this year!!
I completed my Goodreads reading challenge and didn‘t even realize it until today 🤣! I love seeing that little “Completed” ribbon each year 🤗!!
My finished #bookspinbingo board for August! Soooo close to a few bingos 😫!!!
Never have I ever DOUBLED my yearly reading goal! And pumpkin spice season has barely started, no less! 🤯🍂
I finished my reading goal!!! Unfortunately, the book that completed it was only a 1 star read.
I went through a reading slump at the start of the year and am trying to decide where to change my reading goal. I was hoping to read a book every two weeks but I stopped reading entirely from Feb to June. To reach that now I‘d really have to step it up and I don‘t want reading to be a chore.
Do you ever change your goals to make them achievable after you‘ve set them?
I'm SO pleased! I've always wanted to read more and I've finally found some habits/approaches that are working for me. I've had a 50 book yearly reading goal for ages and last year was the first year I met it. My final book count for 2022 was 62. I didn't want to change my goal for 2023 because I wasn't sure if reaching it in 2022 was a fluke.
I have one week until i leave for vacation, so this is crunch time at work, packing and finishing up the books I am in the middle of. Here is what I hope to accomplish for #MagnificentMay:
📚 Finish book club read
📚 Finish April #Roll100 book (bit behind on that)
📚 Finish Cranford #pemberlittens
I am not making any reading time goals, as I just don't know how much time I will have. @Andrew65
March reading goals
This month I‘m focusing mainly on my buddy reads: The time Traveller‘s Guide to Regency Britain with #Pemberlittens; The Hurricane with #LittensLoveRomance; Anne of Green Gables with @IndoorDame ; finish Before Green Gables and start Anne of Manhattan with #KindredSpiritsBuddyRead; and I‘d like to finish Kale for #loveathon - and read some other romances of course! Too bad February is a shorter month!
In 2022 I had a page target not a book target and I read more books than I had in the last 4 years! 🤣🤣
An illustration how Covid/unemployment/retirement has changed my reading.🙂😉📚This year my goal will be 75. Hoping to read a few of the chunksters from my shelves.
I am obsessed with cross referencing StoryGraph and Goodreads. Who doesn‘t love a nice pile of colorful graphs? 😀
#2022stats :
Total books: 114
Total pages: 40,120
Fiction: 72
Nonfiction: 42
E-books: 50
Audiobooks: 2
My GR goal was 1 book. Yes, one. I hit it on Jan. 2, and the rest of the year was just GR congratulating me on what a great job I was doing. No pressure. I highly recommend it . 🙂
Woohoo! Finished my Goodreads Challenge just in the nick of time! 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤️📚 #goodreads #2022readingchallenge
Looking at finalizing my 2023 book goals and was wondering what everyone is thinking for their own book goals??
This is the reading goal I set for myself on The StoryGraph. I‘m hoping to reach this goal by reading short Christmas books.
Team Slaughter Scarathlon 2022 Reading Goals!!! I‘m so excited to jump into this stack of thrillers and killers!!
#Scarathlon2022Earlybirdpost #Readinggoals #TeamSlaughter #chachacha #foundmyTeamSlaughterKnife
1. I‘ve realized I‘m not going to read 88 books this year, so I dialed it down to a more reasonable number.
2. Implied but not specifically.

GOALS FOR 2022: WORK ON MY TBR…SO FAR GOT 5 OFF MY LIST YAY 😁 #readinggoals #bigjunereadathon #workingonmytbr @Clwojick
March Reading Goal: Be under 20 books behind schedule at the end of the month.
Inspired by so many lovely Littens, in particular @Clwojick I decided to try my own Bujo spread - I used GoodNotes on my IPad and love that I can easily put in images and screen shots of the challenges and book covers. Here‘s hoping I keep up with it (which has been a problem with reading challenges in the past!)
I do have one book related goal for 2022 - use StoryGraph to record all the books I read this year. I started to last year, but stopped at some point for no good reason. But I want the stats and the graphs. I moved the app to my homepage next to the goodreads and litsy apps to help remind me.
My main goal this year 2022 is basically to complete those series that I already started and read more books that I already own, that includes nonfiction, classics and series. Another goal, to enjoy every book and time I spend reading. At least I want to read 52 books.
📖 😍 ☕️
In 2021, I met several reading goals, including reading 100+ new-to-me books; I am a huge re-reader and returning to old faves almost always outpaces new discoveries. It felt good to dive into so many new stories.
In 2022, I'm lowering my overall numbers goal and aiming to knock a few epics off my #TBR- I have more than a few waiting for me that are 750+ pages and I want this to be the year I dig in! What are your reading goals? #ReadingGoals2022
This year for my book reading goals, I‘m going back down to 25 books, because 38 this year was a struggle. Life has changed a bit with dating my boyfriend and spending more time chatting with my family. Even my creative writing has taken a step aside, but I will get back to it. I‘m committing myself to writing a 20,000 word novella by year‘s end. The balance is in the mix.
I kept my goal achievable in 2021 (30 books), happy I got to read more than expected. I‘ve focused mostly on reading books I own and I‘ll do the same in 2022! Baby no2 is due in June so I‘m going to read as much as I can before they arrive as after that any spare time for reading will be non existent for a few months 🙈🥰
