Last week was kind of meh for me because I got a head cold in the middle of it. The main books I was reading went to library purgatory because they expired before I finished them. If I don't reach my step goal this week I may reduce my goal. So not the best first week, but I traveled for work 3 days and it‘s just been flat-out. Morning meditation is harder to remember for this night owl than expected! I might tweak that goal and my step goal a bit since I failed to track consistently. At least I am paying attention and thinking about my health, which is the first step! #BFCR4 #TeamSpellbinders

A pretty good week. Friday the humidity was so bad I skipped the cardio and went to the library instead. 🤷🏻♀️
How is this the last check in?!?! It wasn‘t the perfect week I hoped for but given how busy it was I am really pleased!! A bit disappointed I didn‘t hit my audiobook goal however I did choose HP and the Goblet of fire and Order of the Phoenix to listen to so there wasn‘t time for a third!

I volunteered at the library Thursday for the summer reading picnic. I was there from 9:30-4:00, helping set up tents and games, fetching and clean up. I definitely got more than 30 minutes of cardio done. I felt like I was hit by a bus on Friday. I feel like I had a good week even though I didn‘t quite make my goals.

Week 2 check in
It was a rather busy and stressful week. I had very little spare time so not a lot of organising got done and sticking to my diet went out the window. I tried to make healthy choices for breakfast and lunch but dinner was usually off plan as I had to grab something quick when I had a chance.
I‘m a bit behind on reading too but who knows what next week will bring!

Some of you may be worried/frustrated that you‘re not hitting your goals. ***I haven‘t made all mine either!***
That‘s the point—to stretch yourself. As long as you‘re still aiming for your goal & haven‘t quit, then you‘re making PROGRESS!
But if you‘re frustrated, take a look. Do you need to adapt your goal? If so, DO IT! You got this! 🙌🏻 And we will cross the finish line together!
