This is a reimagined story of the 12 dancing princesses. Growing up, this was my all time favorite Barbie movie so imagine my surprise when I came across this book! I had to jump right in!

Even though most reviews say it wasn‘t a favorite, I loved reading it. There were some parts that dragged a bit for my liking but I like the plot and the sisterly bonding between the princesses.

I found this book really annoying. There was weird sound effects within the book, which I didn‘t always understand. I don‘t want to say too much about it because I don‘t want to ruin other people‘s experiences with it for #LMPBC

#BookReport - Kind of a dreadful reading week for me. I'm staying on top of Moby-Dick & Northanger Abbey, but not much else is happening!! Currently reading the tagged book, which I subbed in for my #LMPBC pick after I bailed on Kingdom of Back. I have less than a hundred pages in Entwined & despite wanting to know what happens & really enjoying it, I just can't seem to get to it! Here's hoping #NovelNovember will help me get back in the groove!!!

A cute retelling of the fairytale The Twelve Dancing Princesses, with a heart-warming ending. A fairly quick read (I got pretty into it and read it in two days). I really enjoyed it! There was a charming mix of characters and I loved how dancing played a central role. I wish I could learn the Entwine! 💃🏻💕

Was looking for an #E for #LitsyA2Zchallenge @BookishMarginalia & saw that my favorite local librarian recommended this. Just adored it! This Retelling of 12 Dancing Princesses Fairytale has it all: Adventure, Romance, Snarky Sisters (Bramble is my fav) & best of all Father/Daughter relationships. Which as Librarian Marie pointed out you don't often see in YA Fiction.

None of the flowers the Princesses are named after are blooming. But I do have Spring Beauty in the grass, Snowflakes in the garden and Julia Child's Rose in the glasshouse. #happyflowerfriday #barefootinmarch #crazyokieweather
