Finally caught my second Pokemon! Playing a little catch up because February is always crazy! But I now have Sinistea! Look at her! She is so cute!!

My third attempt at a #booksleeve is a fail. This one was supposed to be cozy sized but it came out too wide and a little too tall. BUT most of my seams are straight. 👏🏻
It‘s fun learning and pretty relaxing, even failing, after the work week I‘ve had.

This made me think of Clare Cosi from my favorite Cozy mystery series The Coffee Shop Mysteries. Clare runs a upscale coffeeshop in New York City, but constantly finds herself meddling in murder investigations. They are such comfort reads for me.😊

Monday morning #coffeeandabook. So, I kind of bailed on one of my goals for the #JoyousJanuary Readathon- finish the 3 January buddy read and reading challenge books that I set aside. But, I finished 2 other books that I was reading, and I'm continuing to read books that I'm enjoying. @Andrew65

This was a long strung out cozy read. The plot may have been okay but the writer describes everything in detail and gives you a history about it. If you want to learn how to make a good cup of coffee then this book is for you. ⭐️⭐️

Cute and cozy, but didn't quite catch me. Maybe because I just finished the Cape Bay Mysteries, which are very dear to my heart. Or maybe I'm just not that much into coffee 😉 I liked the cat, though 😸

This cozy mystery was a darned good book with lots of moving parts (which I appreciate in a good mystery), and almost no loose threads that I could detect—even the main character‘s illegal parking in NYC was brought to a conclusion (but there is the question about Mario). It ended with a satisfying surprise as to the culprit(s). I get that the theme of the series is coffee, but it was coffee overload for this tea drinker; I‘ll bet coffee lovers ⬇️

Took a long long bath :) And well during the bath I was able to finish listening to the #BuddyRead for #TeamSlaughter ! I really enjoyed it. A bit much at times, I mean I love coffee and everything about it but... Yeah I parts of it dragged a bit. But overall I will say “pick“

The finest coffee humours, recipes and histories, were neatly cool for my interest. Feeling for poor Annabel, made a darker than cozier story. ☕️😸 Perhaps the timing for my mood, was somewhat back in the corner seats for this read. -- I'm a Latte drinker. 😛 Mixed themes of a suspense / romance / sort-of sit-com coffee show; I think some scenes and attitudes could have been written better. Not my cup for this series.

I don‘t drink coffee, but the descriptions of different coffees may be the best parts of the story. A few times, a character was described only a few pages after their first description, which was annoying to me. Otherwise, this was a good start to a series if you like cozy mysteries. I don‘t think I will continue it because of Mount TBR though. 😉 @Clwojick 51 pts

Finished the #TeamSlaughter buddy read for #Scarathlon2020! I listened to the audio but I will probably try to hunt down an ebook for some recipes. This book definitely put me in a coffee drinking mood. ☕️

Also ended up checking off another pumpkin for #BookSpinBingo with Go Away, Big Green Monster for my boy‘s virtual learning. I have logged 9 hours of reading time from Saturday - Tuesday #OutstandingOctober #Screamathon +326 pts

Clever pun? Locked coffee shop? Assistant at the bottom of the stairs? An inquisitive coffee lover? What else could it be but murder. 😏

I don‘t drink coffee, but I loved how Coyle talked about it. And the setting was warm and lovely. Kinda slow start, but picked up in the last 1/4.

But I didn‘t like the main character very much, and when she talked about her pillowy chest I had to check this wasn‘t written by a middle aged dude. 😂

So didn‘t get to read at all yesterday because my dog decided it would be fun to get sprayed by a skunk so was stuck trying to deodorize her and my house all day 🙄. Did get to read today for 3 additional hours for #October20in4 and #OutstandingOctober, watched 3 Halloween movies, and finished the #TeamSlaughter buddy read for an additional 125 points! This brings my first week total for #scarathlon2020 to 267 points!

#BookReport #WeeklyForecast. My two finishes were both pretty good but I am not really feeling any of my current three....not sure if it‘s me or the books. Won‘t get much read today as I am visiting my dad. Will have to see what the week brings.

This was my first cozy mystery and I think I liked the cozy light-hearted writing, but as a non-coffee (or tea) drinker... a lot of the details were lost on me.
