We have just had over 12 hours of thunder cells and super cells here. Youngest daughter woke at 2.30am and hasn‘t been back asleep. Eldest woke at 4.30 and hasn‘t been back asleep. Son child was up for most of it. Is parents dozed in and out when it wasn‘t over our heads. All I want to do today is rest! So we cancelled any appointment that couldn‘t be a phone consult and that‘s what we are doing.

Finally he takes a nap! He is a todteen between teething and defiance!
He is getting so big now. Each day I swear he is much bigger then the last. He has a few complexes due to his hard babyhood but he will grow out of them. He isn‘t wanting to be help all the time now and is becoming a long teen! Could not love him more.

I‘ve been diving in and out of this book for a week or two and really enjoying it. I can relate with my love of plants, nature, crystals and essential oils, I think I‘ll go back to it a few times 🍂

pickThis was better than the other book I read by this author. It was still repetitive and I skimmed over the recipes (which some sound really good) and rituals. But the main information was good and it provided a lot of helpful tips and advice. I‘d say this is a low pick. I wouldn‘t use this as the end all be all book, but use it as supplementary material among other books on the same topic. #bookspinbingo @TheAromaofBooks

pick4/5⭐ Almost every approach described in this book felt so right. It finally pushed me to take the plunge and start my indoor garden with a basil plant. I will be using the guidance in this book for a long time.

One will become a necklace (of course) and the other is going to become a decorative plumbline. I am taking a classical drawing class and we have to have plumblines as we sight-size our drawings. I made homemade chicken noodle 🍲 on Sat and must be psychic, because I woke up with a respiratory virus on Sunday. I‘ve been eating the leftovers ever since!
With a fever, sore throat and all the fun stuff that comes with that, I‘ll have lots of reading & Netflix time today. Finished the tagged book, I‘ve enjoyed dipping in and out of it this month.
On a positive note, my toe is healing quickly!🎉
Hanging out at the local coffee shop with a yummy fall spice cappuccino (so much better than Starbuck‘s PSL!) while Maya is at Hebrew school. Usually this is a noisy spot on a Sunday morning, so I‘m enjoying the atypical peace and quiet!
I have been doing grounding meditations for a while now, but it was quite fortuitous that the book I am currently reading reminded me to, especially on a day like today.
I was feeling quite nauseous after listening to more of Kavanaugh‘s hearing than I planned, and meditating really helped a bit to clear my mind of all of the negative energy and bad memories. #metoo #believesurvivors
My reading has been slow lately. There has been a lot going on. I am loving The First Time I Lied. I thought I would share my stacks of witchy type books. The ones on their side, are the ones I have read. The ones standing up, are waiting to be read. Oh and a spooky candle to set the mood.
Borrowed this book from a friend to browse through, I‘m really liking it! It will be a hard time moving off the couch this morning, but at least I did a yoga class before settling in! 📖 📝 ☕️ 🧘♀️

My weekend book buy. It has a variety of recipes that had me really interested. A very great way to end a very lousy Monday #jb mail!!! I had a big arthritis flair on a busy Monday at work. Then the neighbors decided for the 8th night in a row, to have a fireworks show. 🤬Nigel was shivering and panting till I made him his pillow nest. #jb mail makes my day 💕Thank you so much @Kaye @CareBear @JoScho ! pickTo me, this is the best book that I could have read to get me started on the green witch path. Yes, I am actually going to become one! This wasn‘t just research. ;) It gave an overview of many of the aspects of the green witch way, with enough detail to get you going and enough subject mater for you to know what you are getting into. It was very well written, easy to understand, the aesthetics of this book were very pleasing as well. Top notch. :)
