Confession time: I‘ve never made it through Harry Potter, but I‘ve read Book 1 and part of Book 2 so long ago I can‘t really remember. I‘ve collected various versions (originals, illustrated, Kindle, audio, the set with Hogwarts on the spine), so I‘m all set to make it happen. Here we (the dogs and I) go…🧙‍♀️

Rereading the series with @ruthmoeller for the millionth time. It always brings me such comfort. I couldn‘t help noticing this time how incredible Mrs. Weasley and Hagrid are to Harry. Before either of them even know him well, they welcome him and make him feel like family with gifts at Christmas, kind words, and an understanding that he needs friends and not fans. Also, Hogwarts is a ridiculously dangerous school to send your kids to. 🤣

🦉📜 An owl brought my letter tonight! Time to go back to Hogwarts.

Great read & love the movies .

This was a lot of fun! We got to see the movie with a symphony playing the score. So much cheering and yelling! The nerd in me had a blast!

Finally got Butterbeer at Harry Potter World in Orlando, FL!

Rather than a welcome it is a welcome back for me!

I went through a few very rough years and then rage-deleted my profile when the android thing happened. However, I missed this community so much. When I finally ended up with an Ipad I knew I had to come back.

So excited to see so many of the old faces still here!!!

Found this in a Bulgarian bookstore and my little American heart is screaming with joy!

We also have multiple copies of Dracula, Interview With the Vampire and the Hobbit.

After weeks of bailing on almost everything (this is only the 3rd book I‘ve finished this month which is unheard of for me), I decided to take the advice Littens always seem to give each other about ending book slumps - change genres or reread an old favorite. I decided to let Jim Dale reread HP for me. I don‘t think the slump is broken, but I am grateful for the comfort (re)read. Onward to Chamber of Secrets

1. Nope. My mother says she saw this little cute girl one day at beach, asked her name and then she told her, “if I have another daughter, I will call her Gisela Marie”. And here I am with the name 😂

2. From my mother and father side just one, 2 years older than me but looks younger than me 🤷🏽‍♀️

3. I will go with a fantasy family... The Weasleys. The first book is so good to know them ❤️

Not really book related but I've been obsessed with making miniature kits lately. My kid got me this one for Christmas and it's the biggest one I've put together so far. I love how it came out. ❤️

I am rereading this series. A book a month. I enjoyed reading this book. I rated this book a 5 out of 5 stars.

Finished rereading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer‘s Stone for about the twentieth time, but this time with the illustrated book by Minalima. It‘s wonderful to see full pages worth of illustrations highlighting the details of the book.

Last month I was in Edinburgh with some friends and one of the group suggested we do a Harry Potter themed potion making cocktail class! My favourite kinds of potions have whisky in.

Read these in high school but decided to read them as an adult. Currently reading.

I remember my third grade teacher reading me this story, I was fascinated in the magic surrounding it, and it encouraged me to continue reading the series even though it was tricky for me to read, I believe this would be a good story to read aloud to children and get them excited about reading,

This story follows a boy who find his magic in Hogwarts, he goes through the trails of finding himself and his magic in a new place and faces challenges along the way
