saguarosally Their 50th year they opened at 7 instead of 8, so I got there around 5 that year. Otherwise usually 6, except for the time I got delayed. Haven‘t been since 2017. :/ 5y

Leftcoastzen @saguarosally I‘ve been going since I was 10. Though I moved away for a long time.I probably would have come back for the sale and to visit friends and family, but February was one of my busiest times of year, couldn‘t take time off.Never knew they started early at one time. 5y

So I was "planning" on saving the rest of my Barnes & Nobles gift cards for the books that are coming out next year that I want. But then I saw on Facebook yesterday that select books are 50% off. When I checked a lot of the books that I have been wanting to read were on there. I shouldn't be left alone in the bookstore. I also got the two books that Book Outlet didn't have in stock. I really need to put myself on a book buying ban! ???

I made a special trip to Portland for their big spring library book sale. Sixteen books today and I‘m sure I‘ll go back tomorrow (bookhaul photo to come later).

At one point, a woman browsing next to me gasped and grabbed a book. I was both smiling, recognizing the behavior, and peering over at it to make sure it wasn‘t one I wanted. 😂😬

Like I can pass up a Book Outlet sale ? I was really good. Most everything is for my various book swaps or the #monstermadness2017 prize. I have had it all siting in the cart for over 2 weeks. But I'm cheap and waited til sale day. Plus it meant I could get each person one more book. I promise the only things I bought for myself was sequels of books I already own. Excited for it all to get in so I can get my Book swaps out.

TheWordJar Man, I loved Scholastic book orders!! Definitely the start of a lifetime of book-buying and book-loving. I loved my library, but these orders allowed me to actually own the books and keep them. That was huge!! 7y
