How to Take Your Grandmother to the Museum | Lois Wyse, Molly Rose Goldman
post image

My Grandma made this crab meat dip for every family holiday dinner. Each one of my kids as well as my dad, my brother and even me have made ourselves sick eating too much of it. Last year after my mom died my brother couldn‘t find the recipe. I had it as written on the green paper by one of my sons several years ago. I translated it to the white paper for family sharing. #LitsyLoveBingo

julieclair Love this story! And the dip sounds soooo yummy. Thanks for sharing! 💙 3d
Princess-Kingofkings @julieclair My mom bought this book for my youngest son. They enjoyed reading it together! 3d
julieclair Thanks for this recommendation! Stacked. Also adding it to my budding list of Grandma Books. 😀 3d
Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks Sounds delicious 😋 2d

TorieStorieS Sorry— this puppy has taken over my life!! I‘m behind on everything now!! And I think I only have 60 points! 11mo
LiseWorks I want a photo of that puppy, this is why crate training is so important. They need a lot of rest and so do the you lol. Oh the joys of puppyhood! 🐕 11mo
TorieStorieS Yes- we are crate training but with four Christmas trees up and a house that only had a senior dog in it, we have been busy! My last two physical book reviews have pictures of him! But he‘s getting bigger by the day! 11mo
aperfectmjk @LiseWorks I'm behind on tallying my points, I haven't factored in my readathon points, but right now I'm at 32,773, so just include that for now. I'll add my readathon points and bingos at the end. I've been so busy with work, baking, and wrapping, it's been hard to get everything updated. 11mo
LiseWorks @aperfectmjk thank you, your awesome 11mo

Higgins is hysterical. I was wrapping new books and had to pause and visit the #underthedustcover cover and then of course read the book. Higgins provides coloring pages! https://books.disney.com/book-author/ryan-t-higgins/#activiti...

Bookzombie I love Higgins‘s books, especially Penelope. I wish they would make a stuffed animal of her. Note: I‘m an adult with no kids. 😂 14mo
mandarchy @Bookzombie stuffies are for everyone! I can't believe they haven't made one yet. 14mo

Day 14 - Relaxation

I had a relaxing break away in Cumbria, among the lakes, forests and hills.

It looks like @jenniferw88 had a great time in Kefalonia. Thank you so much for my postcard. It was a lovely surprise.

What's your ideal method of relaxation? 😌

I've had too many snow and ice injuries to enjoy being out in the snow, but I love to watch the snow from the cozy inside! ❄️
Here in MS we don't get snow but tornadoes like we are tonight 😫

Thanks for the tag Julie! 💙

TheBookHippie Oh no!!!!!! Ack. I love the snow from the inside looking out. 2y

I came across several relics of the past this afternoon, including this summer reading list from 1991, when I was 13. It runs to 55 titles over three pages, and I have little to no recollection of any of the books on the list, other than Sideways Stories from Wayside School which shows up at number 50 😆 Any of these ring a bell for anyone else?!
