I will say it was a good reading month. I enjoyed all books I read. Maybe The Safekeep was my least favorite because I expected too much but I really liked this author writing style and I will like to read something else by her.

March 2025 Book #8 last book read in March
I know this book was well accepted and won The Booker Price 2024 but I liked it not loved it. It didn‘t work for me. But I have to say that I like the writing style, it was the story that I didn‘t like much. Maybe my perspective about the relationship between these two women is different. I don‘t know but I saw a toxic dysfunctional relationship very manipulative and convenient. ⬇️

March 2025 Book #7 second book in Alex Stern series) I thought it would be a duology but not, third book is expected by September 2026. Well the ending suggests that a third book is coming. This book started very slow, I even thought if it was necessary a second book but then…the action starts. It has many twists and there is no way to describe it without spoilers. If you liked the first book, you will enjoy this one but ⬇️

This is the second book in Tuya (All Yours) duology. Liked it but not loved it. The beginning was so slow and it was about flies if you have any kind of phobia with this insect, this book is not for you. It was interesting to know about this insect but this is not a nonfiction book. You will hate Inés who has l, let‘s say a different personality😬but half way of the book, it changed and kept attention with good twists⬇️

I own like three special editions of this book because they are beautiful and I thought I would love this book. This book has mixed reviews. I‘m in the side of very disappointed team. The writing style is so different of what I use to read by this author, it was like someone else wrote it. The premise is so interesting but I found it extremely boring. Maybe because I was expecting action, intrigue, I don‘t know something else⬇️

I really enjoyed this book about two families and the matriarchal way to raise their families. So different. During my reading I was mad with Mrs Willoughby and more in the side of Mrs. Fowler. But then you follow each family, their sons and daughters through their lives and you will understand each side of the story. This is really a story about family dynamics and each and changes in each generation. So well written and⬇️

I continue with my late book reviews but this help me to keep track of what I read in 2025 in GR. readers habits😂
I really liked this book. In some way reminded me Eleanor Oliphant is completely Fine. In this case I saw Sally as a woman with a neurocognitive condition (functional diversity) and how hard could be to adapt herself to a typical world. Family secrets, manipulation and even abuse. That‘s how I saw that family behavior (no spoiler)⬇️

March 2025 Book 2 A re-read for me but I only read the first 2 books. Now I‘m planning to finish the series, obviously, next year 😂It was enjoyable to go back to this world and I could say I enjoyed more the story now than the first time. Looking forward to see the dynamic of this “romance?” triangle. We know things will drastically change in the next books. I have the first edition cover and this new hardcover edition🤦🏽‍♀️book collector⬇️3.8⭐️

I‘m extremely late for my 2025 year books reviews but this is something I‘m doing to keep a track of what I read this year. Yeap, this is for March 2025😳I really must add to my reading goals/challenges for next year to post my book reviews at the end of each month😂

I enjoyed this story, the mystery was interesting but with many convenient coincidences🙄😂Always reminding myself that I‘m reading the series as an adult 3.5 ⭐️ ⬇️

You chose so well @Avanders Great books for this season. The Devils is gorgeous. Under dust jacket the design is so pretty 😍 and the end pages?😱beautiful. Can you believe I haven‘t read anything by this author yet? This will be my first book. The Bewitching cover is so pretty. Swaps are amazing I have so many book in my tbr and is amazing to see what my match will choose😃Thank they are amazing! The shawl has beautiful colors and so soft! ⬇️

What? @Avanders This package is amazing. All caddies past the quality control test😋🍫🤣I love chocolate, what can I say? And you sent a variety of them🙌Definitely I need to go to the 5K Turkey Run race next November😂The tea smells so good and is caffeine free👌perfect for those nights when I want to drink something hot but nothing with caffeine. The wrapping paper is so pretty. I wish I could find a similar design here for my match.

Ahhh! Everything @Chrissy is so pretty! The light is already on my table. You have gave me beautiful lamps. I still have the pumpkin one which I use during thanksgiving. Love them❤️The books are great, Blood Moon is gorgeous and the 2026 Sabbats Almanac is great. Just a wonderful spiritual way to start the new year…soon it is a significant book for me😘The candle is so pretty that I don‘t want to use it😂But I think that I could use it….⬇️

Yesterday was my 9th Litsyversary! 📚🎂🎉
9 years!!! Wow!🤩

The #CBBC package arrived yesterday. Some neighbors complaint that packages were left too near the stairs, now the post service are leaving packages outside the building😳which means that when is raining packages can be damaged like yesterday. A neighbor saved my package and put it in front of my door 🙌Of course I complained and now they are looking for alternatives to solve the situation👍So, @mommamanzi everything was saved. ⬇️

Yesterday I received #CBBC box. I already tasted the coffee ☕️ 😋👌Thank you for the extras😍My daughter looking to have the candle vase after I use it😂 The book looks so interesting. It is the third in a series so I already ordered the first two🤗Thank you @Mommamanzi 🥰❤️❤️❤️We are almost done with this #CBBC round ☹️but I have read amazing cozy mystery books 📚 👍

I decided to participate in #14books14weeks hosted by @Liz_M I was thinking that it would be a good idea to read books received from different swaps😃But I chose only mysteries, thrillers, horror books received from swaps or gifts. The photo just show which ones I will read but not in that order. (Last books is The September House). I will read other books received from swaps but those are the ones chosen for this particular reading challenge 👌

What can I say about this book? For me was more like a reflection of these characters about themselves and life during their travel. A philosophical thinking, but didn‘t feel it like a novel with a plot. But judges have more literary experience than me. 😄 3.5⭐️ I liked it but didn‘t love it. Maybe a re-read? 🤷🏽‍♀️

😬Another unpopular opinion🤷🏽‍♀️What is the purpose of this book? Margo tried to manage her dysfunctional parents by establishing emotional barriers. I still think she underestimate what happened with this professor. She tried to stand alone for herself and son by creating an “ethical kick-ass pimps of all time..” where “sex work can be a legitimate profession…then why not being a pimp?”⬇️

Sorry, unpopular opinion here. I think this book was overhyped for me. That situation at the hotel was so unrealistic to me. Then, we have a character not only with suicidal ideation but also a plan to do it and it was ignored? I have read books with morbid humor like Hagman by Maya Binyam but from the beginning you see the absurd tone. I didn‘t see that in this novel. It was tragic so sad her situation but ignored⬇️

I really enjoyed this book but I understand is not for everyone because is slow, maybe story was dragged a little bit and some convenient actions present that helped that ending. I usually don‘t like or enjoy stories about addictions, maybe too close to work, but there was something in the writing style that I loved, how author described the characters, that self talking, reflection, so deep, so many wonderful quotes⬇️

This is a collection of short stories, powerful ones in terms of topics. First book I read by this author and looking forward to read more books by her. However, my experience with short story collections is that I like some more that the others and this is not an exception. Also, some stories I saw them more narrative, informative than a short story per se. It was the same experience I had with In A Dream Hoyse ⬇️

Maybe I expected more from this book since it was recommended by YouTubers with I follow their recommendations, but not always we have the same taste in books, and this is an example. Loved and intrigued by the premise. But I felt disconnected with characters. I thought Irena was arrogant and thinks everyone needed to please her. Some of the translators invited to this event in Ireba‘s house had infatuated feelings 🙄⬇️

A contemporary chick lit where Felicia, an unsecured, immature character constantly take bad decisions that jeopardized her marriage, her emotional and physical security…and you, as a reader, will feel frustrated and mad during all this drama. Male figures here are terrible, abusive. Sexual abuse was minimized by family. Maybe the ending was a small step for Felicia start to grow up. Maybe this was the part that I liked⬇️

February 2025 Book #2 (book 1 in this duology)

I still think my favorite book is Elena Knows but this one was a great story. A thriller involving a triangle relationship. Only 162 pages and it was amazing of how many twists it has. Unlikable characters but so well described. I really like Claudia‘s writing style, how she develops these characters. However, there were some actions in our main character that I found unrealistic or too convenient⬇️
