We do not care that we left yesterday for our vacation and drove four hours to northeastern Arizona only to realize when we got there that we had left ALL of Pippa's seizure medications on the table at home in Phoenix. 😳

P.S. Thankfully, after hours on the phone, her neurological vet was able to send all the prescriptions to a pharmacy up here so that Matt didn't have to spend eight hours today retrieving them. #deepbreaths 😮‍💨

Wishing you a successful surgery with many excellent books to keep you company afterwards. Dunno what I would have done all these years if I hadn‘t been working at an ortho doctors‘ office since I was 13 😆 (my mom works there still!!). 3mo

Amiable @TheBookHippie @dabbe I commandeered my husband‘s for the duration, to his dismay. 😄 I think it was a La-Z Boy also. We don‘t have it anymore. Which arm are you doing? Make sure that you can reach the lever with your good side! 😬 3mo

Amiable Oh, also make sure to have a selection of big shirts that button up the front because you won‘t be putting your arm through a sleeve for a while. 3mo

JenlovesJT47 @dabbe thanks for asking! A dislocation didn‘t show on x-rays so I had to get an MRI. Seeing the doc next week. He thinks I might have a labral tear in my hip. That would be my luck for sure! Crutches kill me so I‘ve altered my gait & walk on my tiptoes on that side. Not fun. Sorry, that was probably more information than you were looking for! 😅 3mo

Amiable And ask the surgeon when you can start PT —as soon as possible to avoid frozen shoulder if you can. Ask about passive PT where the therapist moves your slack arm around for you. 3mo

kspenmoll Oh no, I am so sorry! I have shoulder surgery that entailed more than rotator cuff, & I was “older so recovery longer” ( plus it was on right side; I am right handed) but now I am so much better! Cleaned up arthritis, bone in bone while in there as well. You can do it! 3mo

Librarybelle I enjoyed this one too! I did kind of hope for a true supernatural element, which would have been unique, but it was a super fun story. Maybe I think so because vampire is in the title! 😂 4mo

I found it interesting that the kid's name was Jack. “Jack“ is used is many folk tales (talking to you, Jack & the Bean Stalk) and usually involved a young adult male who is a trickster or rebel of sorts. In this one, he happens to want to kill. 🤷‍♀️ The name definitely fits! 4mo

OutsmartYourShelf I would say those who constantly shift from one to another are worse as you would never know where you are with them. You couldn't trust them as they would throw you under the bus (horse & cart?) to save themselves & for political expediency. 4mo

lil1inblue I find them equally bad, but in different ways. I agree with @OutsmartYourShelf about those who shift with the wind. But those who are so unshakable in their faith that they can't open their minds to other ideas or views can be equally harmful. They deal in absolutes. 4mo

AnneCecilie I agree with @OutsmartYourShelf, you would never know if you can trust them, and in these changing times you need to be able to trust someone 4mo

I'm glad you gave pros for each side because I see both sides as well. There are pros and cons to both types of people, and I find it difficult to choose which is worse. It seems that Shardlake does, too. Boy, I would never be good on a debate team! 🤣 4mo

LiseWorks There is a verse in Revelations that talks about people who are neither hot nor cold. Christ doesn't like it. And the Protestants today still believe in the antichrist. I think I would have lived as far away from the castle as possible, lol. 4mo
