and made more slow progress on First they Killed My Father (I want to read it, but am struggling with the style)

I follow Uncle Stevie on pretty much all social media because I ❤️ him. Today on FB he posted a new book being released September 10th. He gave ew.com an exclusive preview. Sorry I could post the link, but here is the information.

Whee I made it to twelve hours which was my goal for the weekend. And now I have to take the kids to their friend‘s birthday party

Decided since this next in series (no. 4) just came out today, I‘d do back-to-back Lady Fan mystery reads. I love when I‘m able to do that...it‘s like prolonging a visit with a dear friend. 😊❤️

With every new entry, I love this mystery series more and more...I think this may be my favorite so far.
This one centers around a beautiful, rich but mad young heiress, and the author‘s handling of her manic highs, lows and violent tendencies is simply amazing! One feels sorry for her, terrified of her and irritated by her...all in the same sentence. She is surrounded mostly by those who wish to use/abuse her, but is she really an innocent 🔽

Here is my bookish year in review.

I am proud of finishing with 74 books, as my goal was 60.

I‘m about to blast a few photos from my new cookbook courtesy of @ElishaLovesBooks 🙌🏻💕It‘s not in the database which is a bummer because it‘s outstanding. Millennial Kosher by Chanie Apfelbaum ( I believe she‘s a food blogger on IG known as Busy in Brooklyn) This is her idea for a rotisserie chicken. Use the core of a pineapple as a base for the chicken. I‘ll add ing list in comments😋
