This was a fun cozy mystery. I have read other books by the same author and enjoyed them. This one did not disappoint.

75% in it was a decent cozy mystery - then there are some reveals - dissociative identity disorder, childhood sexual abuse (mother abusing sons) and all couched in typical cozy dialogue/actions/ending -so in the last 25% of the book the path from hook to resolution turns dark, poorly handled, ridiculous. (and the cat was not as magical as promised). #WinterReadathon

Started and finished this cozy in a few days. I had been feeling super sick these last couple of days but.. I was able to read this book (also my hubby read some of it to me to me too) Anyway really enjoyed the setting of this books (Salem is one of my favorite places)

Recent finishes for #Scarathalon #TeamSlaughter. 4 Halloween related books all ok not great 100 pts CaughtDead Handed was long and slow and I figured it out way too early - Team theme 15 pts and 5 pts for Pride for #PemberLittens. I loved this modern YA retelling of Pride and Prejudice. Thanks to @Julsmarshall for including it in my #staycation swap box this summer.

Almost forgot to post my #OutstandingOctober Readathon goals. I plan to finish the 3 that are in progress and read my #Bookspin winners for the month. I have not been successful at keeping track of my reading time in the past but will make an effort to do so for #Scarathalon #TeamSlaughter Wish me luck!

Very easy read. Predictable, light, and fun. Not in my list of favorites, but I'd for sure go for another book from her when looking for a "cozy" mystery to speed through.

A tidy, cozy mystery, with a slightly overused trope but thoroughly enjoyable.

A very enjoyable cozy!!! I loved that this story was set in Salem and that it almost became a character in the book. I loved the characters and where the story took them. I loved the witchy aspect of the story and even though I had figured out the mystery pretty early on it was such a good book! I will for sure be looking into more of this series!!

I've been a bit MIA lately. The plague has swept through the tv station I work at (again). I've been swamped, a little feverish, and exhausted.
I came home at 6 and jumped right in bed. But, I got hooked on this fun cozy set in a Salem Mass TV station. It's a lot of fun so far; even though I think I solved the murders a third of the way through.
The 2 black blobs are Hades and Harpy waiting for their dinner.

Book 12: This was a... unsatisfying cozy mystery. Between guessing the killer at the first hint, a lack of character development, and the constant reminders that the MC is, like, *soooooo* sexy, I was glad to have finished this one quickly.

A thoroughly enjoyable cozy where you know the killer about 3/4 in. A bit slow to start but it picks up quickly and sucks you In even after you figure it out. Setting aside some factual gripes as if you don't know about them or focus on them it won't detract from the story. Logging 3.5 hrs for #24b4Monday , it's deer season here so not sure how much I'll get it. Though honestly I'm people's out so I'd like to be left alone to read 😂

I've never tried mysteries before this was my first one and what fun it was! Perfect for Halloween, this book felt like I was eating candy, fun, easy to get through, super delightful! All the yesses and looks like I'm digging the mystery genre!

I‘ve missed you guys! On Thursday work starts in my house and I‘ve been busy packing (mostly books, to the surprise of exactly zero people) and shifting as much as I can. It‘s insane how much stuff is in my two bedrooms! Tomorrow my mom is coming over to help me (phew). Once Kevin is here and working, though, I‘m assuming I‘ll be Litsy-ing for most of the day. (Awkward having ppl work in your house!)

Really enjoying this witchy cozy!

I haven't even been in this country for 8 hours, and I've already raided a Barnes & Noble. They had an entire cozy mystery section and I could not resist some silly titles!

I give this book a 4.5 star rating! it got a little slow only for two chapters in the middle of the book. but damn! the mystery was good and the characters were so awesome including O'Ryan, the lovely orange tabby on the cover of this book! lovely Halloween read! #cozymystery #books #autumn #fall #cat #witch

I'm in love with this book. As a fan of Supernatural and The Ghostwhisperer, this cozy mystery brings that kind of feel into it. I'm loving it!

this book was recommended to me by both barnes and noble searches and amazon. so far, I'm intrigued by the characters and how the book is set in Salem!
