I got the most wonderful surprise Christmas gift by mail yesterday! Fun fact: if you listen to the podcast, on a recent episode I explained how I've always been a library girl growing up. From a young age I always went to the library and borrow tons of books. The fact is, I've never actually owned a book of fairy tales until now! Just finished with the Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp. I may have gone slightly overboard at the used book store today...
Vexed that most of the Magic Tree House books for my daughter ended up being full price, but the average makes it a little better. But seriously, $6-7 each?! She reads them too fast for that.
I could have resisted a couple of Fairy books. But not 8 of them.
