As a person who likes and is accustomed to a change of seasons that includes snow & cold at Xmas, this forecast is discombobulating. 🫨

Got a bit of snow yesterday! It was a great day to read!

1. NO! Well, six miles away on Christmas Eve for euchre & the Lions. And presents!

2. We are now! Michigan is expecting a blizzard in southern and central lower. Happy about the snow, notsomuch the potential for travel woes. And the winds are predicted to be intense. We‘ve got a bomb cyclone coming people! We‘ve stocked up on gin, gas for the big generator, and bird feed. Am I forgetting anything? 😉

1. Yes, but only because I don‘t have to go anywhere. It‘s the end of the world when it snows in VA and I‘m fortunate to have a job that handles snow never (I‘m a teacher).
2. Cozying up with a good book. I‘m not an outdoors kind of gal.

We've got a snow day here! I didn't get to sleep in but a day of reading makes up for it 🙂

Some of my snow pictures after yesterday‘s snow storm (it‘s about -12°C ; a month ago it was pouring rain and +12°C). There‘s enough snow that my dad is using a snowblower to remove snow in front of the garage door. #snow #whitechristmas

What month is it? It‘s supposed to be colder tomorrow night - 27 degrees F. My poor dogwood tree and my little lilac bush (we covered her with a sheet, but part blew off) are going to be very cold. @Crazeedi Did you get snow?

Proof that it does actually snow in Australia! This is my eldest daughter @kimmcallister90 & my gorgeous grandson Tavis playing in the snow in Lithgow which is near the top of the Blue Mountains range west of Sydney. When it‘s a cold winter it can snow halfway down the mountain at Katoomba as well. This is both Tavy‘s & Kim‘s first time in the snow, apparently he had a ball throwing snowballs at his parents!❄️

Go home mother nature your drunk. It's April 14th.... not January 98th. Since I'm stuck at home all day I guess it's time for some comfort food and reading!

Dear Mother Nature,
Just in case you are unaware, it is April 3 and I should not have to be using my snowblower. Please stop this madness! Thank you!

Both of my libraries branches are closed, and they‘re not even keeping the main one open for too long, so I‘m snow day all day woooo! ❄️Finishing this one and then on to a new one!

Oh come on! It's the middle of March!! It's Easter in a couple of weeks! Clear off snow and this freezing cold wind! I am so ready for Spring! But reading books about labour camps in Siberia put everything in perspective! Feeling very grateful for our full cupboards and warm house!

Not book related but we‘re having a crazy amount of snow for the first time in years here in Scotland! We don‘t really know how to cope with it so everything seems to have shut down 😝 But at least Harvey is enjoying it ! ⛄️🌨🐾❄️

I don‘t think I‘ve ever experienced 2 snowfalls in one season in my entire life down south. of course, michigan and wyoming winters are brutally hardcore; in alabama it‘s cute! here‘s to hoping it sticks for more than a few hours but alas it probably won‘t be here long... oh well, it makes for the ultimate reading weather 👏🏼📚❄️ •

It‘s snowing!!! I got so excited. And then my boss text and said we are still open tomorrow so that pretty much drained my excitement. I love getting on the road with other drivers who don‘t know how to drive in snow. I miss working for myself 😭😭😭

I'm sad that I'm not at home sleeping or reading graphic novels right now, but I am at work instead. ☹️

Well, much to my dismay, it‘s snowing... enjoying some quiet time with my tree and my book while my son naps.

Our first snow of the season! Molly loves the snow and will play outside all day if I let her.

I woke up this morning and it was still snowing!! This is rare, rare for where I live. I love snow so much and am so happy. I wouldn‘t want to live somewhere where it snows all the time because then I would probably hate it. But this I love.

IT IS SNOWING IN DAPHNE, ALABAMA. I AM SO EXCITED RIGHT NOW. VERY MUCH SO. ☃️❄️
