The last of my Friday op shopping spree.
Here's another challenge I'm reposting---plenty of challenges to go for in May!!
Hello my lovelies! Wondering if anyone would be interested in joining me for a week in May and challenge ourselves to attack that ever growing/never ending TBR list of books to read and review on #NetGalley. I signed up for NetGalley on March 4th, and I‘ve already been approved for over 140 books, 65 of which I still have left to read and review. I‘d love some support, and fellow participants! Please share, and let me know if you‘re interested!
I guess I need to reevaluate my goodreads challenge for this year. In previous years I would have struggled but not so much this year.
#thankyouaudiobooks
Hi Littens!
You can still participate in my challenge. Use hashtag #MarchInBooks
It's not necessary to post every day. It's ok if you miss a day or two😁 I'll feature my favourites pictures at the end of every week. Just remember to enjoy and have fun.

I‘m taking it easy on myself this year so I can read more classics and bigger books. I set my numbers below last year‘s totals and will randomly fill in the #LitsyAtoZ challenge as my reading mood dictates. Let‘s do this! 😆
#BookResolutions
#LitsyChallenges
Honestly, this is the only officially #litsychallenge I'm participating in. I'm going to attempt the #popsugar2018 reading challenge, and work on my #mounttbr.
#readingresolutions @Jess7
I‘m keeping my Reading Challenge goal low for 2018- I‘m on a book award committee and can‘t acknowledge any books I read that are in contention for the award.... so here‘s hoping I still read 50 outside the award! I‘m already thinking of lowering that..😬😬🤔🤔
After having to reduce my 2017 challenge from 56 to 48 books in late summer, I've decided to scale back to 2-1/2 books per month in 2018, so I can focus on some longer books. I'm excited for some sort of classics challenge, though I also want to keep up with some contemporary fiction as well.... Happy New Year, Littens! Can you believe it's 2018? 😳
Repost from @Riveted_Reader_Melissa :
Nonfiction Challenge 2018!
I‘ll be carrying on what @Booksandcooks started last year.
The challenge is to read 1 non-fiction book for each month in 2018.
The tag will be #nonfiction2018
Just signed up for #litsyatoz 2018! I also selected the ‘all TBR‘ books challenge because that stack is ever growing 😢 Good luck to everyone that signs up and thank you @BookishMarginalia for creating this 💕
I finished my #LitsyReadingChallenge today with one last audiobook! There are lots of interesting books on this list and I really enjoyed reading through it.
#ReadingChallenge2017
w00t!!! I surpassed my Goodreads reading challenge goal for the year by 100 books! Seriously tempted to try for a total of 200 books read. But, I would need to read 25 more books with only half a month left in the year. Would reading kids‘ books count? Or would that be cheating? 🤔 what do you think Littens?
Last year around this time, I saw the #LitsyReadingChallenge and screenshotted it, then later decided I didn‘t need to add yet another challenge to my year. I‘ve been seeing people posting their progress lately, and today I came across the screenshot when cleaning out photos on my phone. So I got curious, and I pulled out my reading log to compare my books read with the challenge categories. Not bad. Maybe I should take this approach next year. 😂
Hey Littens! So I have found the first reading challenge I plan on participating in for 2018! The #ReadingWomenChallenge! Looks like a great way to widen my reading experience for the year! You can check out the challenge at @thereadingwomen ‘s site here:
https://www.readingwomenpodcast.com/reading-women-challenge-2018/
Any suggestions for other upcoming challenges for 2018? I‘m pretty excited to be planning out a #2018TBR!
So far I'm planning to participate in the following challenges:
#recommendationschallenge2018
#Booked2018
#popsugarreadingchallenge
#litsyclassics
I think that's enough challenges for 2018 even with some pics qualifying for more than one challenge! 😍

I started the year with a 60 book challenge goal thinking a little over one book a week was doable, upped to 75, then 100, looks like I‘ll easily make 160 which is a bit ridiculous. 2018 challenge will be lower hoping to read some doorstoppers but the audiobooks and long commute as well as 10,000 step a day goal where I listen to books will probably keep me reading away. #BookishProblems. New goal is a limit on new books- harder to keep!
just finished my bingo card for #LitsyReadingChallenge2017 - i enjoyed it very much and am definitely looking forward to the 2018 version. thanks to Jessica (who can‘t be tagged apparently)! 👏🏻 👍
Finally updated my litsy reading challenge, only half-way done🙄 Don't think I'll be finishing this one. On a brighter note, I only have 2 books to read to finish my Goodreads goal! #litsyreadingchallenge
Goodreads challenge achieved! Let‘s see how many more I can finish before the end of the year 😄
Hey, I finished another #readingchallenge this week. I've been putting off "Starts with a Z" for ages. Finally got it done with a great Ray Bradbury book of essays. Review coming soon. Now all I have left to do is Mt Kilimanjaro for #MountTBR.
#litsyreadingchallenge #litsybingo
I have completed my 2017 Goodreads Challenge! Yay!!
With everything that is going on in my life I am actually quite impressed I had the time to read 40 books so far 😂😂. Needless to say, I wish I have the time to read more. HAPPY SUNDAY!!

Finally updated my #LitsyAtoZ challenge! Only three books missing, U/X/Z. I think I own books for U and Z, but I guess I need to get a book with X @BookishMarginalia
I didn't even realise I'd reached my goal till @Marchpane sent me a congrats on goodreads 😀

It looks like two extraordinary, incredibly phenomenal Littens are gearing up for a new, unqiue challenge here on Litsy. Head on over to @BethwithBooks 's or @Lola 's profile to find more!!! This one looks to be an excellent chance to prep for upcoming titles 😁👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻! #TotalEclipseOfTheArc (Love that hashtag! 😆👏🏻🙌🏻)
@Critic_Uncritical_Bookworm has announced an August book challenge! Head on over for all the details 😊👍🏻.
Have a Instagram? I have a August Book Challenge over on my account! www.instagram.com/critic_uncritical_bookworm/ giveaway included
Feel free to share!!!
I'd love to see your photos over in bookstagram and become bookish friends! 💗 All info on my Instagram post.
Reposted because Litsy cut the numbers off so strange. It would only work with the screen shot version.
Going pretty well if I do say so myself, considering I haven't had as much time to read since I started a new job at the beginning of April.
Usually I'm too busy to read at lunch, cos I often don't have time to even have lunch & I've been clocking up a lot of overtime as well.
I sometimes wish I was back in my old job. Life was a bit easier then. The grass is always greener and all that ...
I need to step it up. Hope to be caught up & a bit ahead by the end of the month.
Week 4 of the Spouse Induced #ReadingChallenge
Operation "Read the (allegedly insane amount of) Library Books".
Books completed: Lolita
Total read: 5/15
I'm not sure I can keep this up unless I stop reading non-library books. ?
An update on where I'm at on my challenges so far. I still need to update Goodreads so that it reflects correctly. 🤓
I know there are still TWO days left in March...however I'm currently in middle of 4 books and none will fill the remaining boxes so it's safe to assume this is how my #LitsyReadingChallenge looks after 3 months😊Loving this challenge @jessica

#LRC1 My Kitchen Year
#LRC4 Zealot
#LRC7 Wangs VS World
#LRC20 We Shall Not Sleep
Oh dear, Vita. I loved the Edwardians and All Passion Spent, subtle, funny, thoughtful examinations of upper class outsiders trying to negotiate their roles in a changing world. But this... Julian and Eve's relationship was irritating but compelling and against the backdrop of a frankly ludicrous political conflict it became utterly unbelievable. A heavy-handed metaphor for personal freedom that did not come off at all.
