In a really busy month with lingering health stuff, I‘m pretty amazed that I read 12 books.🎉 It was a great reading month as I had several books I really enjoyed & a couple that I‘m sure with make my Top books of 2023 list. My favorite was the audiobook Remarkably Bright Creatures which I tossed into the mix when I had headaches & work commutes & I‘m so glad I did! Close behind was The Undertaking of Heart and Mercy from my #AuldLangSpine list ⬇️
Here is my month in pixels!! You can't see my key very well, but I just did a rainbow so the closer to the red end of the rainbow, the lower the pages for the day, while close to the violet end of the spectrum is more pages. This tracker is supposed to be for moods, but I figure how many pages I read in a day kinda reflects my mood as well 😂
@Clwojick
Let‘s all wish @Skygoddess1 a very Happy Birthday!! We hope you have a wonderful day and you find time for things and people you love! 🥳🎂🎉📚🎶💕
Join us in wishing a very Happy Birthday to @Chelsey_5 today! We hope it is filled with people you love and lots of bookish wishes! #LitsyLoveBirthdayCrew #LitsyLoveBirthdays
My semi-tentative January #TBR Right now the top 2.5 rows are pretty solid because of #buddyreads #readalongs & challenges, a book tour & my virtual foodie book club pick. I am a moody reader so the rest is up subject to change.
Looking to read along with #SundayBuddyRead #ALSpine #AuldLangSpine #PemberLittens #DiverseCozy & #SeriesLove2023 so far in January
January was a really good month for my reading..
10 books in total:
3 physical books + 5 ebooks + 2 audios (~70 hours, thanks Count of Montecristo!)
My 5 stars were The power of the Dog and both audiobooks (The Count of Montecristo and The Sandman with a full cast on Audible)
#januarystats #januaryWrapUp
Very late to the party after deadlines and a cold, so I'm keeping my goals simple for now:
- Read 5 books/month
- Eat 2 meals a day
- Take a break everyday

#BookspinBingo list for January. Lots of longtime books from my #TBR. 2022 is the year I‘ll read books I own. My goal, no new books come in (or from the library) until 10 owned books read or donated. @TheAromaofBooks

January #recap #wrapup #januarywrapup
Nine for me.
Three nonfiction, six fiction.
Goodreads challenge: 9/52.
I was very lucky, starting this year off with books I loved! There were a couple that I bailed on or had to push through but overall I would recommend just about all of this month‘s reads. Sadly though, things got crazy this weekend and I have only clocked about 8/20 hours for #20in4 to close out the month. Looking forward to the next #BookSpin to get me excited for February!
Well, that‘s a wrap! #Jumpstart2021 was a huge motivation for me. Thank you so everyone who joined us. I hope it helped you tackle your 2021 goals! A huge shoutout to my lovely cohost @Lizpixie ♥️ It‘s been a blast!
I don‘t think I‘ll be finishing any other books today, so I‘ll post my stats now. I‘ve read 70 books, which totalled to 18,457 pages 🕺🏻🕺🏻
Sticking with my emoji rating scheme. Got to 9 books this month! Most in many months. Eleanor and Park and Beartown were my comfort rereads. The Obama book is amazing and a must read. I‘m the minority who didn‘t really like The Grace Year (fine, but I don‘t get the hype.) Girl woman other had great parts but sooo many characters to try to keep straight. Migrations was good but again I felt didn‘t quite reach my expectations. The others were meh.
My January reads. Two for a book club, one reread, and one audio.
Pretty much nothing else good happened in January, except for me reading a book a day 🥳😳📚😅 So many good ones as well!
January reads. I think Love, Hate and Other Filters and Blood, Water, Paint were my 2 favorites.
Finished #JoyousJanuary readathon with 3 out of 4 goals completed:
Read into double digit hours ✅
Finished Managing Death ✅
Finished The Zealot and the Emancipator ✅
Finished Worst Ideas Ever ✅
Thanks for hosting another fun readathon @Andrew65 See you again in February. Is the name selected yet? FabulousFebruary?
#JoyousJanuary @Andrew65
Late to the game with my goal for this round, but I‘m here! January is always chaotic and a time of transition for me, so my goal is just to take time to myself and read every day.
#joyousjanuary @Andrew65
Yay for another readathon!
I‘ll be participating, trying to finish some books for #BookSpinBingo.

Here is my January #bookspin list!
Excited to get started with this year‘s reading challenges!
@TheAromaofBooks
So these are the books I plan on starting just as soon as January gets here. There appears to be a lot of mist, horses and blue hues. My end to end reading habits are possibly getting out of hand. I may break down and start reading one of these I get done with Heroes before Midnight (don‘t tell my OCD). #IndigenousVoice2021 #SexPositive2021 #Joetry2021 #OokbOokClub2021 #IntegrateYourShelf
No-fuss January #bookspin picks. I went with the orange shelf. @TheAromaofBooks Here‘s to another great year of reading my shelves.
All ready to start a new (and hopefully better) year of #bookspin! I sort of fell off the wagon towards the second half of the year but fingers crossed this year goes better. These are all library books I currently have out that I need to read soon. I‘m leaving spots 21 to 25 open on the bingo sheet since that seems to work better for me. Fingers crossed this goes well! #bookspin #bookspinbingo @TheAromaofBooks
Check out my January Escapes and Escapades post!

Some January stats! Had a pretty good month in reading, including some new books and some rereads.
⭐️ JANUARY WRAP-UP ⭐️ - Generally, I was pleased with my reading this month. I made some significant progress toward some of my goals, including my backlist, BOTM backlist, and Tournament of Books reading.⠀
⠀
I did notice that I read A LOT of romance this month. I think that‘s for several reasons, one of which is definitely that when I‘m stressed, romance novels are the reading equivalent of comfort food for me.
12 books read in January. That puts me well on my way to my goal of 75 this year. I also hit the NF goal with The Red Market. I think my favorites were The Haunting of Tram Car 015 and The Bookshop on the Corner. I also really enjoyed revisiting Persuasion in audiobook form.

The first 5 were for #newyearwhodis and the last for #nyrbbookclub.
I‘m going to keep reading from Meg‘s list throughout the year as I‘ve liked every book so far. Thanks @monalyisha for the great match ❤️
January books! I managed 15 this month even though I really feel like I haven‘t read nearly enough.
Really liked: Fleishman is in Trouble, Darius the a great, Such a fun age
Really didn‘t like: the Topeka school.
January reads!
All in all, not a bad month. Wanted to get through one more, but looks like February wii get off to a quick start.
P.S. I‘m very jealous of you guys who can read 10-20 or more books in a month. I am in awe!!
