I feel bad sending postcards with boring Australian stamps - when I get these beautiful ones in return… the sun coronal loops one has a gorgeous coppery sheen to it that the camera doesn‘t pick up.

Finally had a chance to mail out some #litsylove holiday cards. Hopefully they make it all by Christmas

I don‘t really remember what postcards I‘ve sent to who at this point (and I buy doubles sometimes if I find them particularly amusing) but hopefully it‘s new to the person I‘ve sent it to 😅

This one is off to Washington DC - mostly because while I was there (back in 2015) I was super puzzled by all the tourist trap 🐼 stuff in the souvenir shops...

On my last visit to Adelaide Zoo (just before the Great Lockdown of 2020) I learnt the zoo 🐼 are essentially on extended loan from China - they have to pay to have them. Deemed worthwhile because people come to see them.

I‘ve been lax at writing postcards but... my enormous pile of unsent postcards finally beckoned me!

Sitting down with a glass of wine to try and catch up on some #LitsyLove - does anyone else run into this problem, I've got a couple letters than I'm honestly not sure if I've responded to or not! So, @jinxmoon you might end up getting two responses from me to your last letter.

I think I need a better system to keep track!

Usually I post a snap of whatever is going in the post box but today it was just a boring yellow envelope (with a very cute, specially commissioned pet portrait for a friends birthday inside) so here is me with my brightest mask on - with the very scenic little pond that‘s tucked into the corner of the park that I cut through on my way to the post box.

This book is delightful. I enjoyed the rhymes in the text as well the humor. It was fun to see what letters the postman delivered to each character. So, the interactive part was very enjoyable. The best part of this story was seeing all the loved fairytale characters in this book.
