Wow, this is so crazy! I can‘t believe I have been on Litsy for four years (and fairly active throughout that entire time)! I‘ve always been a voracious reader and book person, but being a part of the Litsy community has absolutely changed my reading life. I have read more, and more diversely, than ever before. I never used to listen to audiobooks, and they are such a huge portion of my reading now. I love this community!

Yesterday‘s yummy lunch from my sister‘s co-op and some #litsylove I posted yesterday arvo. Bound for overseas. This Australian wine is delicious.

Home for the holidays and my mum has decided to work (She has only just decided to work over the last few years after not ‘working‘ the whole nearly 40 years of my life!) I went to work with her but I was in the yoga room writing #Litsylove letters.

I treated myself to my first iPad from a Black Friday deal. Finally got Litsy set up on it!

1. Learning about new books and the community of fellow book lovers!
2. The only thing I don‘t like is when I see posts that are negative. Not negative reviews, but rather complaining, passive-aggressive posts. I‘ve had to unfollow some people in the past that were too negative.
3. I would love it if there was a private message function. A lot of the swap spam could be cut down.

We‘ve revamped the “Follow Suggested Users.” The old one was full of verified accounts that don‘t use the site now. The new is full of fresh, active members you‘ll want to follow. It‘s partially personalized according to what you read. And it‘s new every day. Enjoy!

To use, go to the home screen and tap the blue person icon in the upper-left corner. Select "find users to follow."

Introducing a new feature: Add a Book to Litsy! The @Litsy database and its sources don't have every book. Upcoming, self-published, and non-English books are not always available. So, by popular request, members can now add a book to the Litsy database.

The feature is currently available as a web page. In future versions, we'll add it to the app.

I wanted to update Littens on Litsy images loading slower.

We found the issue last week, fixed it and have confirmed it's fixed. The issue was that, with the app update, Litsy images stopped being resized appropriately, so they were larger than is ideal. (Graph shows image data growth and return to normal.)

We've since reintroduced resizing (and "resampling"). But we are doing slightly less of it, to make the images crisper.

So just what is this app, a place to feel vindicated in the books one has read, connect with similarly literate people or, just a book reviewer? How does this app work, and to what end? And... I, I don't know what I am asking for, or expecting out of this.

Well my review, I've read a great deal and enjoyed a great deal. Books are very personal, I believe there is a Time & Place for every book, and I wish you luck finding yours for your next read.

I've had a busy weekend and didn't get much #LitsyPartyofOne time in, but I'm making up for it a bit tonight. Spending some quality time with Litsy on my iPad and a glass of red wine 🍷
