Came across this challenge and I'm looking forward to it in addition to my yearly reading goal. I'm hoping to clear out some of my TBR with a focus on books I already own. #beathebacklist #beatthebacklist2022

I promised myself I'd be more active on Litsy in 2020 as well as trying to get through a few more books. I'm hoping for 200 this year.
#JanuaryStats
#2020ReadingGoals: I‘m doing #LitsyAtoZ again & my #Goodreads goal is to read 60 books but if I have to reduce my goal, so be it! I will no longer put off reading longer books! My resolutions: writing more reviews (both Litsy & GR), giving audiobooks another try, being more active on Litsy, and donating or trading in some books so I don‘t have to put myself on a book buying ban! #2020Resolutions #NewYearNewYou #ReadingResolutions #AuldLangReads
Does anyone have any book related New Year‘s Resolutions? I am thinking of a few. One is to read more of my older books before buying new ones 🙄🙄🙄. Also, I would like to read more poetry! Does anyone have any poetry recommendations for me?

I have been going back and forth about my resolutions, but now, a week into the New Year, I finally think I have settled on something.
So, in 2019 I will...
- try to finish the books from my #RecommendationsChallenge2018
- do #Booked2019
- use the library and audiobooks more, especially for nonfiction
- read as much as possible and don‘t stress about it
#ReadingResolutions
This is one of my #bookishresolutions...I need less screen time so I can have more reading time. 😀
1. I‘d like to read 100 books. I did it this year, I can do it again!
2. To read more books outside my comfort zone. I‘ve discovered a few unexpected great books that way.
3. Try to connect with more Littens outside the Litsy universe.
#sundayfunday
📚Read 100 books, I read 90 this year.
📚Read more of what I already own, at least 50.
📚Post more reviews.
📚Read at least 10 books from my new book: The Great American Read Book of Books.
📚Participate in at least 5 buddy reads including botm buddy reads.
#SundayFunday @sebrittain
1- Complete the PopSugar Challenge, the Modern Mrs Darcy Challenge, Nonfiction 2019 challenge, and a British Authors Challenge
2- Read 75 books
3- Avoid buying books in order to read the books I've already bought. This is a serious issue for me, but I'm not going to say I won't buy any books at all. That's just unrealistic!
#BookishResolutions #SundayFunday @sebrittain
1. Keep an eye on my overall page count rather than my overall book total so I don't keep reaching past the chunkster books that are sitting in my pile.
2. Use the library more often.
3. Attend literary events when and where I can.
4. Thoroughly enjoy my reading life.
#sundayfunday
@sebrittain
I am looking forward to the New Years “reset,” and getting into some better habits. I have identified one true resolution and it is......
No buying books in 2019.
I know, right?! I don‘t think it will be as difficult as I thought at first. I have 100s (if not 1,000) of unread books as well as access to digital ARCs & the library! I think the toughest thing will be if one of my fave authors publishes a book & I want to get a hardcover edition.
This is my #bookishresolution and it should be fulfilled with my #newyearwhodis in January

😄😄😄
#ReadingResolutions for 2018!!
I don‘t expect to finish all of these, it‘s the process that is fun! If I do finish them all, it will be a 2018 Hanukkah miracle! 😆😆

#litsychallenges #goodreads #bookresolutions
Last year I barely kept to any of my bookish goals, so this year I am determined to do better. I joined a lot of challenges to help me work through my #MountTBR.
#bookishresolutions #tbr #challenges
Here are my 2018 #BookResolutions: 📚👆🏼What are yours?
1. Read at least 30 minutes a day;
2. Read one #Botm title each month;
3. Read at least 40 books in 2018;
4. Complete the #passport challenge; and
5. Continue co-hosting #LitsyBuddyRead.

#ReadingResolutions #bookresolutions 📚My 2018 Bookish Resolutions. The biggie based on this year's performance, is keeping up on rating/reviewing books on Goodreads. I'm going to try to work in more buddy reads-which work for me, rather than challenges (besides Goodreads) which I suck at.😬(Details on the Feb Persuasion Buddy Read will be coming soon.) I am going to continue to reduce book buying & reading more diverse books goals from 2017.👍📚
I‘m resolving to be more organized in my reading life. #blameitonlitsy. Here are my first ever #bookresolutions!
#readingresolutions #newbeginnings #newyearreads
I'm going to attempt this, despite usually falling flat with prompts & challenges. My book resolutions are to try & read ~50 books this year. Including children's books. I was able to fly past that number quickly and easily last year since I did not work while I was pregnant (due to HG), or right after she was born. This year will be a little more tricky. I will be adding more audiobooks into my rotation as a way to meet goals as well.
Part of my 2018 resolutions is to read a few of my books and then give them away.
For 2018 my book resolution is to get a bit more diverse in my reading genres. Want to get in some non-fiction classics, historical fiction, & I'd like to get into a series if possible. Right now thinking of the crazy rich Asian series
#readingresolutions @Jess7 #bookresolutions
This year my #readingresolutions are so much less specific. While I have other goals like hosting the #poetrychallenge2018 & working on that #MountTBRchallenge & #yearofthechunkster, my main goals are both to read what I feel like when I feel like it AND to continue stretching myself. I'm looking at my TBR and putting books into seasons and thematic categories, deciding what books to read together to enhance the mood or further the discussion.
This year I'm not committing to any specific challenges. Instead I'm going to focus on books from the #1001books list, participate in readalongs or buddy reads as they catch my attention, and try to read books already on my shelves. Additionally, I'm looking forward to another great year of books chosen by our #CovertoCover #LitsyGoesPostal group.
#ReadingResolutions #BookResolutions
A couple Reading Resolutions
1) Finish "The Weird." I didn't make it super far in this behemoth, but I want to tackle it in 2018
2) Try and keep pace with my Nocturnal Reader's boxes as they come in. It's a feat I only managed rhe first month so, you know, easy.
3) Whittle away at the tbr, as always. I got back into preordering books last year, but I've slowed down more on outright purchases (except pulp horror at used book stores).
#readingResolutions #BookResolutions @Jess7 I try every year with the best intentions 😬😉🙄🤞🏼🤞🏼
My last #LitsyHumor post of 2017. 😹👏🏻
I didn't do too bad on my reading resolutions for this year. 4 out of 5 is pretty good and I also completed Litsy A to Z, which isn't on here. So more like 5 out of 6! No big resolutions for this year. I'll keep up with the one nonfiction a month and daily Bible reading. I really loved keeping a journal this year, so def sticking with that too. #resolutions
Your goals, hopes & dreams belong to you. Don't stress about them in the new year. Focus on achieving & maintaining what's best for you personally. If at first you don't succeed try again & always keep it moving 😉
Thanks @BarbaraBB!
1. Walk more. Spend more time at museums & parks.
2. Finishing The Line of Beauty
3. Post to Litsy 3x a week; review on LT more promptly.
4. Perhaps
5. The perfect cup of coffee and blanket
6. @Kristelh
@Wbabdullah
🎉📆📚🤓 #BookGoals #LibrarianLife
We posted our top ⚂ 2018 #BookResolutions 2day at work- here's a summary of mine😁🙈:
⚀Tackle the tomes on my #TBR
Ex: 'The Name of the Wind' ; 'Kushiel's Dart'
⚁Read the classic children series that I didn't read as a kid.
Ex: Anne of Green Gables; His Mortal Instruments
⚂And as always- read MORE NONFICTION!!!

I have a bunch:
🔸Read 200 books
🔸Limit new book purchases
🔸Finish at least 5 of my challenges
🔸Read at least 25 more #1001books
I‘m planning ahead by filling my challenge prompts with books I already have and books that are available through the library and/or Playster. I‘ve cancelled my BOTM (😮) and will be canceling my Audible as soon as I use up my last credits.
#2018ReadingResolutions
I'm a big one for resolutions, the making of them not so much the keeping of them. I love beginning projects or beginnings in general really. I have a number of #resolutions for 2018, mostly related to increasing my happiness and finding employment. But I've decided to have no book resolutions except maybe a minimum number of read books. I want to read whatever strikes a chord and feels right, not to fulfill a challenge.
#reindeerreads
As we near the end of the year, I revisited the reading goals I posted in January 2017.
✅ over 100 total books
✅ #LitsyAtoZ completed
✅ #LitsyReadingChallenge completed
❌ gave up on Read Harder
❤️ Love my #CovertoCover #LitsyGoesPostal group and am looking forward to another year!
✅ read several books on #SerialReader
✅ read a few books in translation
✅ If Litsy blurbs & reviews count, I wrote more about my reading.
I call that success!
1. My goal for last year was 25 and I have more than conquered it! I totally #blameitonlitsy because I've never met a goal yet, lol. So I'm going to shoot for 75 🤗
2. Dorothy Must Die, The Wolf of Wall Street, ACOMAF
3. Thrillers ❤ But I want to try more classics
4. 2-3 maybe
5. Let's hit 15,000!!!

@IheartYA
My 2017 reading goals! 😊
I'm back! #bookishresolutions #2017 #readjanuary
And I just committed myself to #LitsyAtoZ so another resolution! @BookishMarginalia
Well, I'm a little late (and already doing poorly given the addition of 2 extra books to my #BOTM box), but here are my resolutions! I am not counting my current library books in this (4), as they were checked out in mid-December. #bookishresolutions
@RealLifeReading
#readjanuary Bookish Resolutions:
📚Gooodreads challenge of 60 books
📚Finish Book Riot's #readharder challenge (I was three books short in 2016 😔)
📚Read at least 50% books by POC
📚Read more books available at my library branch
And, here's a #shelfie just for fun 😄
I don't usually make resolutions, but this is something I can actually hold myself to. #bookishresolutions
Resolutions for 2017! The only thing I'm worried about is finishing Tritons Story, I've been writing it for a little over a year now and I keep "fixing" it so much that I can't get even close to finishing it. ???????
My 2017 reading goals. I'm hoping that participating in the challenges will motivate me to READ MORE this year!
